Leo was frustrated. Frustrated because Natalie wasn't picking up the phone and hadn't showed up at school. Neither was Alice, nor did she show up and his sister was missing now. He called Jacob and Billy to see if they knew Natalie was still home or not and told them they couldn't find Bella and couldn't get ahold of the redhead since the day before. Jacob, forgetting about his cousin ran straight to his truck, pushing his father's wheelchair as he hightailed it to the Swan house.

Billy had smacked him upside the head as he grumbled and pulled his cellphone out. He called the only person he could think of.

"Yeah, Sammy. Can you go up and check on my niece for me? She and the chief's daughter are missing. Send out Jared for Bella if you can." Sam quickly agreed and hung up.

The man ran into the woods behind he and his imprints home and shifted into a giant all black wolf with dark brown eyes. Sending out a howl, Jared got the memo. His paws moved quickly on the ground as he ran up the mountain. He smelled something sickly sweet and repulsive in the air the closer he got.

Thankfully near her home was one of the hotspots that the tribal shifters hid their clothes in so when he phased back, he wasn't naked... fully.

He knocked on the door of the nice, homey looking cabin and got no response.

"Natalie? Billy sent me, it's Sam Uley. Are you home?" He used his wolf hearing to try and see if she was in the house only to hear a faint heartbeat. And then it stopped. His own heart dropped as he kicked to door in after seeing it was locked.

"Natalie?" He called out while he looked room to room. Finally he stopped at the last room and the sight nearly made him shift in the house.

Natalie was lying in a pool of blood with a hole in her neck. The sweet scent was still in the air but not as strong.

Sam immediately started giving her CPR hoping that he was wrong and she was just bleeding. He dialed his uncle as he continuously gave her chest compressions.

"Billy!...Billy she's not breathing!" He panicked into the phone. "What? What's going on son? Where is my niece?" Billy asked as he put himself on speaker, not being able to wheel himself and hold a phone at the same time.

"There's a wound on her neck and- and she's bleeding real bad. I can't hear her heart, Billy! I can't hear it!"

Leo stood behind Billy, wanting to thank him for his help with his sister as he overheard the conversation. He stood still in shock. All of the sudden a firey pain went through his chest making him fall to his knees and gasp for air. Tears of anger and betrayal went down his face as he heard his best friend and chosen sister was dead. It was almost as if he could feel it. Her death.
