So it had been a few days since the fall of Beacon. There was quite the tension between him and his former friends.

Everyone has been depressed between the Jaune situation and the fall of Beacon.
They ended up looking about as bad as they felt.
Ruby looked like a hobo.
Weiss looked like a plastic doll.
Blake looked like a mop and was dressed in what looked a cheap dollar store gimp suit.
Yang just looked hideous. Like a fat burlap sack full of potatoes.
So yeah. This abomination is what they looked like.

Jaune was so tempted to forgive them just to make sure they wouldn't look like that anymore.
But then he remembered that he hated them and that was that.
By the way Ruby said something at some point. She said that she wasn't angry about Jaune's transcripts. It was that Jaune didn't trust her enough to tell her.
Also, Ruby had been harassed constantly and accused of faking transcripts herself. You know. Basically everything you've likely read from Justanotherguy04 on fanfiction.net particularly notice me Ruby.
But since this is Wattpad all the conflicts are black and white. So Ruby was beyond forgiveness for not hurting Jaune.
He also remembered that Penny cared about him, so he went about fixing her.
Sure, he had no idea how to pull something like that off, and sure, reviving Penny just because she's a machine would completely ruin any aspect of her actually being alive despite being a machine.
Sure, one might think that once Penny died that would be it and any attempt to bring her back and restore her would cause her to lose her individuality.
And since Penny wanted to be human, one might believe that coming to terms with one's own mortality might be the most human thing of all, and reviving Penny might make her lose her humanity.
Or maybe Penny would simply be better off out of RWBY considering how terrible the series became after Volume 3.
But then RWBY volume 7 came out and look how that fucking worked. Also the fake out death is so common in writing anyway, so whatever. And besides, this keeps Penny in the harem.
And Jaune was in need of something to fuck and he was good at using Microsoft edge, because, you know, edge. So, he's got it.
