Separated Adoption [THE REWRITE]

1 - Farewell Brothers

Welcome to the Dream SMP. Houses, bases, nations, you name it. You can explore this place at will, not having to care about anything. The orphanage is where we begin our story.

Our first child, Tommy. He's an energetic, loud child. He likes to run around and tease others. Tommy enjoys checking out the prison with Warden Sam. The warden will let his guard down around the kids when they visit as to not scare them. Tommy acts as if he's not scared of anything. He will swear in front of the adults and not give a care in the world.

Child number two, Toby, or Tubbo as they call him. He's not too smart when it comes to some decisions, but he has some strong spots. Games and construction he can get really good at. Not to mention animal taming. He loves bees, so he learned to tame some bees nearby. He loves anything calm, that's how he likes it. Tommy knows and tries to keep calm around him.

Finally, child three. His name is Serenade, or Seren. He's thought to be the son of an evil dictator, but there's no way a child this scared could be that way. The only reason he is the way he is, is because he's seen his father die with his own eyes. That's left the poor guy scared of everything. He's like Tubbo, he can't make good decisions or read, and he loves everything calm. He will jump at the slightest of unexpected sounds. You can tell how he's feeling from his ears. If they're up, he's happy or spooked. Down is sad or uncomfortable. Slightly up is neutral. The sight of blood has made everything look unsettling to him, making him not want to eat.

Now that you know the children, let's go on to today.

"Okay now listen up kids!" Puffy said, putting plates in front of the three kids. "Today we will go visit Sam and look at the King's Castle! How's that sound?" "YEAH!" Tommy shouted. Seren dropped his ears a bit and covered them with his hands. "I'm with Tommy," Tubbo said with a smile. I nodded. "Alright! Let's eat and be on our way!" Tommy and Tubbo began to eat as Seren watched with a sickened face. "Let's try eating lil man!" Skeppy said softly as to not spook Seren. He shook his head. "If I fed you would you eat?" Seren thought before slowly nodding. Skeppy grabbed his fork and took a small piece of an egg on the end. He held it close to Seren's face, letting him eat on his own time. He hesitantly took the bit of egg and ate it. About the time Seren was half done, Tommy and Tubbo were playing in their day clothes. "Can I go play with them Mr. Skeppy?" Seren asked quietly. Skeppy smiled and nodded. Seren hopped off his chair and went to change into day clothes. Their day clothes were a bright blue with a sun on the shorts and shirts. They also had each kids name on the sleeve. Once Seren changed, brushed his teeth and hair, he ran out to meet everyone ready to go.

Their first stop was quite a walk. On that walk, they would point out anything that was new. Every day there was something new or something being built. Today, they met Dream and Punz working on a farm. Tommy ran over and asked what they were doing, having them stop to chat. Punz knelt down to the kids' height. "We're working on a big farm for the king!" He said with a smile. "I'm going to be king one day!" Tommy put his hands in the air. "Not if one of us beats you first!" Tubbo joined in. Seren didn't want to remain in that conversation. Puffy had picked him up to meet Dream since he hadn't liked the conversation he was just in. "So this is the youngest," Dream said with a smile. "The names Dream, if you need a getaway just let me know and you can hang out with me for a day. How's that sound?" He held up his fist as if asking for a fist bump of approval. Seren's ears went up and his face lit up. He game Dream a fist bump with a smile, Dream ruffling his hair. Seren had reached out to Dream, wanting him. Dream only laughed and took the kid from Puffy. Seren gave the man the biggest hug he's given anyone before, his tail quickly wagging in happiness. "Someone doesn't just like the idea, he loves it!" Bad laughed. "Would you like to hang out with me today little man?" Seren nodded, his ears not daring to drop at all. "Alright then! You be good for Dream, Tommy, Tubbo! We're going!" The adults gathered at the path. "Why isn't Seren coming with?" Tubbo asked. "Well, Seren was invited to play with Dream today. But no worries, you're gonna meet the king." Puffy told them. They were off.
