I lay up here, chained on the wall. Thinking. Waiting.
My friends, Lucy, Caleb, and Alex hang beside me, knocked out. What has my life become of? Being beat up, all day, everyday. These wicked games she has us play. All of it.
I break out of my thoughts to the sound of a door creaking, and in stepping Raven.
"Well, well, well. They couldn't take the pain, could they. Pathetic. Worthless. Waste of space." Raven spat. All her words dripping with venom. There was the Wicked Witch of the West. Maleficent, Ursala, all demons and evils combined.
Raven
Next thing I see is a hand coming towards me.
Smack!
Right in the face. My head whipped to the side, causing pain to my neck.
Raven then grabs my throat and squeezes.
"Look, you pathetic little piece of shit! You look at me when I'm talking. You shouldn't be thinking of anything! You have no family. No one! Those people you call friends unconscious. They're nothing. Worthless. You have nothing! You are nothing! So get that shit out of your damn brain!"
By the time Raven finished talking, I'm pretty sure my face was blue. She let go of my throat and I started coughing up blood.
I looked at her with hate and disgust. I spit some of my blood in her face.
Bad idea
She wiped off the blood from her face. And turned to me.
"Bad idea, Sweetheart." She had this dangerous gleam in her eyes, and I knew trouble was coming.
I was suddenly pulled down onto the floor. The chains end up being pulled from my wrist. One arm slipped through, but my left arm was stuck, resulting in me dislocating it.
"Agghhhhh!" I screamed in agony.
Raven pushed me to the ground and started repeatedly punching and kicking. Punch after punch and kick after kick. Coming towards me, never stopping. I could her distant screams in the background who I'm thinking is Lucy.
I was screaming, crying, waiting for the pain to go away.
"You worthless piece of shit. You are no good. Nothing. Your just here, waiting to die. Nobody would care, no one!" Raven said, still kicking me.
"Emma!"
"Emma!"
"Emma!"
That is all I heard. Is the Angels here to take me from this misery?
Saldy, no. It was just my friends.
Raven pulled my hair making me look at her. She punched me right in the nose, resulting with a sickening crack. I cried and cried. I tried crawling to Lucy, only to be pulled back, by none other than Raven herself.
"Noooooo! Stop! Please!" I sobbed and sobbed. I am a worthless piece of trash. Just wasting air and space. I am nothing.
Raven is right. Maybe I should just let go. Be free from all this pain. Be free. Away.
Free
Free
Free
Those are the words that rang through my head, as I slowly slipped into unconscious.
