Me and Jess were finally home. After the long, painful walk. It is so bad walking with Jessica. She never stops talking. I had to refrain myself from bitch slapping her.

When I tried to walk into the house, 'coincidently' Jess was trying to walk in at the same time. I'm pretty sure it was no coincidence. We both end up getting stuck in the door. After trying to push our way in, she finally just elbowed me in the rib, and pushed me back outside. I was clutching my rib, and muttering very unladylike things under my breath.

I walked into the house a looked around. Much hasn't changed. Still the same boxes siting in the same corners. I sighed.

My mom came trotting down stairs after I went to the kitchen to make a sand which.

"Hey honey, how's school?" My mom asked.

Well, Jessica took my phone, so I slapped her. I was late to class and on my way to my locker I met a chick who was a lesbian. In gym I got hit with a soccer ball, resulting with me in the nurse's office. I met this cute boy named Jacob along with his friend Caleb. My new friend totally trashed my teacher, AKA, her mom. I soon found out the truth to my friend's relationship with her mom. On my way back from school I got elbowed in the rib, by a not so kind Jessica.

"It was normal." I shrugged. She nodded and went upstairs. I stayed in the kitchen and made me a sandwich. It was so yummy. I finished up my PB and J and went to the refrigerator to get some milk. Before I could lay my hand on it, my mom called me upstairs. I groaned and reluctantly trudged upstairs. I found her in my room standing next to something with a blanket covered over it.

"Surprise!" I heard from my mom and somebody who was behind me. I immediately went into fight or flight mode, and went with fight. I turned around and punched the person who was behind me.

It was dad.

"OMG, dad! Never do that again! You know I hate being sneaked up on." I gasped. I looked at the floor to see my dad clutching his nose which was now bleeding.

"I'm sorry sweetie." He cried. I cringed and looked away. Blood gave me the butt shivers. I know it sounds weird, but I can't help the way my shivers go down to my butt. I looked back at the mystery object. Then back at dad. Then the mystery object. Then dad. I stepped over my dad, who was being aided by mom, and walked to the object. I pulled the blanket off, and stared at what seems to be a mirror.

"Uh," I poked and prodded the 19 century old mirror. "What is this?"

My mom got up from aiding my dad, which clearly has a broken nose now. I cringed.

"What does it look like?" My mom asked.

"Um, a mirror from a Shirley Temple movie?" I joked.

She didn't like my joke.

"This is a special antique mirror from 1988." She said with pride.

"What makes it special?" Jessica said walking in. "Besides the fact Emma is looking at it, and it hasn't broken yet."

I glared at her.

"This mirror is over fifty years old, yet it is still here."

I shrugged.
