Just the two of us [NOAH SCHNAPP x READER FANFICTION***]

Chapter One: A New Beginning

Y/n's POV:

It is a sunny day and I have just graduated. I applied to a few universities to study film. I have been a working actress since I was just 10 years old.  I have been in lot's of different films including, The summer I turned pretty, The age of Adeline, Jurassic world, and I did a voiceover for the children show Bluey. Right now I am working on the show Sydnee to the Max. We have our last day of filming in two weeks. This will also be our last season, so I need to start auditioning for other roles. 

I lay in bed on my phone. I am looking for some more roles. Then I came across one that seemed interesting. IT'S FOR STRANGER THINGS!!!!!!!! They are looking for a 15-19 year old female to play the role of Claire Thomson! It says she is a 17 year old girl who goes to Hawkins High. I am perfect for this role! They want her to be brunette so I would have to wear a wig but that shouldn't be too bad! I have had to wear wigs in other films I've done too. WAIT- This means if I get this role I'll be working with Noah Schnapp!!!! I'll let it be known that he is my celeb crush!!! So this would mean the world to me!!!!!! The thought of seeing him in person gives me butterflies. (A/n: He is my celeb crush but please don't come at me)

So the requirements for the role says, I have to be able to ride a bike, at least 15, and I must be of at least 5"0. I meet all of those requirements. I decide to audition. But first I need to run it by my mom. I step out of bed and walk downstairs to talk to my mom. 

"Hey mom! How's it going?" I ask with a big smile.

"Hey hun. It's going good! I am trying this new recipe for dinner tonight. What have you been up to in your room?" she says with a big smile. I can tell she's in a good mood. Which means now is the perfect time to tell her about this. 

"I was actually just looking for more roles to audition for since Sydnee to the Max ends soon. And since neither of you guys work, I need to make sure I have a new job once I am finished." I say excitedly. "You know that show called Stranger Things that we used to watch?" I ask cheerfully.

"Yeah, I do. Why?" She says sounding kind of annoyed. That's not a good sign. Hopefully my mom agrees with my decision. I mean, I am an adult now and I have been providing for the family practically my entire life. I mean nowadays, my parents don't have to pay for anything ever. I always deal with costs. 

"Well they're actually looking for a girl my age to be in season 5." I say slowly hoping my mom doesn't get upset. 

"Oh wow! How exciting! Are you gonna audition?" She says happily. Thank goodness! For a second there I thought she was gonna get upset at me for taking on another job so soon. Guess I was just overthinking. 

"Yes, I am gonna audition. The only thing is, I would have to fly to Atlanta Georgia to film if I got the role..." I say hesitantly. "But I would not have to pay for plane tickets. The duffers would take care of that." I add quickly. 

"Nice! I'm so happy for you! Hopefully you get the role!" She says very, very, excitedly. I've never seen her in this good of a mood before. It's actually really nice. 

"Thanks mom!" I say and then head back up to my room. I sit back on my bed and start filling out the form to audition. Once I'm done I set up a camera to record my audition. First I memorized the lines. After I had them completely memorized, I hit record. 

*Time skip*

I just finished recording my audition and I sent it in. I got an email saying I would get a call from them within the next three days stating whether or not I got the part. I'm so excited!! I call my bestie Olivia. I told her everything and we talked on the phone for about an hour before I had to go downstairs to eat dinner. My mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, and I sat down to eat. The food was delicious. After we I finished eating I went back up to my room and did my normal nighttime skincare routine. Afterwards I brushed my teeth and applied my teeth whitening strips. I have to leave them on for 30 minutes. During that 30 minutes I braid my hair so it will be a bit curly the next day. 

A/n: Hi sorry to end here but I'm getting really tired and I need to get some sleep. 

I will probably work on the next part tomorrow but I am leaving the next day to go camping so it will be a good 5 or 6 days until I get the next part out! Sorry!
