Prologue part 3

Noi's pov
When I woke up I was in a small damp room, my hands were tied to a metal pole and the room was completely damp and empty.

Well thats just great I'm stuck here and at mercy to the rebels, though I'm pretty sure I can keep my mouth shut and not tell those rebels anything.

I heard the door open and saw that it was the boy whos life I spared. He walked up to me and kneeled down so that he was eye level with me.

"Look I am really sorry, we don't want to do this but this is the only way that you can become stronger." He said.

Before I could ask what he meant by that he slammed my head against this metal pole a few times.

My head starts bleeding and the pain I am feeling right now is probably one of the worst pains I have felt in my life.

I can see that the boy looks awfully sad to see me like this.

He continued to hit my head against the pole and I felt really dizzy, like I was going to go unconcious.

The boy grabbed the pole and I took this chance to escape and I sent electricity up the pole using my magic.

I watched as he fell to the floor and I quickly untied the rope and ran to the door but as soon as I got to the door, their leader appeared there.

The leader looked at me and my mind cleared of all my thoughts and there was only a voice left in my head.

"Turn around and go back to the pole." He said.

This sounded like a command I couldn't disobey so I walked back to the pole and the girl from before tied me up again and that is when I regained my thoughts.

But it was too late, I was tied up again.

"Now since your our guest do you want us to introduce ourselves?" Their leader asked.

"That would be nice." I said.

If I was going to be here for a while I might as well know their names.

"I'm Azazel." The leader said. "You have already met Abilene, the boys life you spared is called Malik and the sorceress is called Pandora."

Well its nice to know the names of my captors.

"Whats your name?" Azazel asked.

I decided to tell them cause why not.

"My name is Noi." I said.

"Okay Noi, I need to test a new spell, can I test it on you?" Pandora asked.

"Yeah why not, I'm going to be expriencing things that are going to be more painful anyway." I said.

"Thanks." Pandora said.

Pandora started waving her hand in a spinning motion and saying words from a book she picked up not so long ago.

A minute later I started to feel dizzy and faint and I started to drift to a sleep but before I went to sleep I heard someone say welcome to the family Noi.
