Chapter Four.

She froze for some seconds trying to warp her head around what her friend just said
"Am sorry what now" Tirana was angry yet not that angry at freda but yet she wants to shout at her and tell ask her why she is doing this to her but she couldn't do it so she  relax herself and ask her in a calm tone.
"Why, why now why do we have to work together why" freda was actually kinda surprised she was expecting her to just stand up and walk out or better still shout at her but she did no such thing so she took that as a good sign.
"Well I.. look this is not my fault or my doing is just my husband to be is Benjamin's friend and he also made plans too just like us,to plan each other's wedding well the first person to get married,am so sorry I know you guys had a thing together but please help me your friend please"

Yes she is right Benjamin and Tirana had a relationship back then in high school
they really were in love but they both wanted different things.Tirana wanted to go to South Korean once she was done with college and probably move there while Benjamin wanted to stay back in New York go to college here and focus on his work at his dad's company and she didn't like the idea of long distance relationship and Benjamin didn't want to let her go at first but later though about it and thought it was for the best for her and for him.

"Ok...fine I will think about it,then tell you my answer" freda looked her like she just grown two heads
"Think about it ? girl we need to start planning this wedding fast please don't do this to me"
Tirana: " ok ok fine but he's going to follow my rules ok" freda with so much happiness quickly replied "deal" with a big smile on her lips.

"Hey baby,how are you,how did the meeting go with freda" her mom asked her as soon as she just got home
"It was ok" she didn't want to go into the details but her mom being her mom wants to know what happened she gave her  that looks that says 'am not buying that bullshit'

"Really ok that's all,baby you know you can tell me anything right" Tirana nodded at her mom " then tell me" Tirana heaved a deep sigh,sat down on one of the kitchen tool and that was the sign her mother need, she went out of the kitchen and sat next to her, she explained everything that happened today at the cafe shop to her. Tirana looked at her mom's face but she couldn't pin down the exact expression of her mom's face her mom just smiled at her said

"Baby is that why you look like this look is ok I know how this feels but there is no need to worry about it ok you kids are friends so just do this for your friend if not for anything for freda your best friend ok promise me you will" Tirana smiled at her mom and hugged her with a small thank you leaving her lips

By 8:00 Tirana and her family are having dinner and everyone is gathered at the table she told them what happened and her brother and father gave those pity eyes she hates so much so she tells them she is fine and they should not look at her like that again her brother tell her to quit if it makes her uncomfortable but she told him she already made up her mind to do it no matter what even Benjamin can't make her change her mind.

The next morning was the beginning and first day of planning the wedding she got up from her bed in high spirits and went to her washroom to do her daily business, came out and went downstairs to be greeted by the strong smell of black coffee and eggs and toast.
"Smells so good, Omma"
"Morning to you too" Tirana quickly apologize and greets her parents and brother

"Better isn't,how was your night sweetie" her mom asked she replied her with yes and they had breakfast together in a comfortable silence until Barry broke it
"I need you guys to meet someone and is very important" this was enough for everyone to look at him with surprise and curiousness Kate was the first person to ask,

"Who is this person that is so important" Tirana and her father just kept starting at him waiting for him to say a word about what's going on. Barry looked at everyone on the table and said those words that his mom has been waiting for a long time to hear

"Mom,Dad,Nana I am...well I have a girlfriend and I want you guys to meet her" after he said that he looked at their face and his mom and dad looked happy and surprised and his sister was just surprised his mom was the first to break the silence
"Oh my baby am so happy for you what's her name?where is she from?oh I hope she is pretty" his dad just kept on smiling at him and Tirana been Tirana,

"Who decided to go out with you oh no I feel for her" her brother just gave her one of those looks that says 'seriously' but everyone knows that she is just messing with him she loves her brother so much and she is happy that he is happy
"Am sorry when do we get to meet her" she ask.Barry told them later on that day. Kate was happy to meet  her grandkids are on there way.
She had always wanted one of them to get married and settle down but she never pushed them about it and now that her dreams are coming true she was so happy.

Tirana had to meet Benjamin today to plan the wedding and somehow a number sent her a text message tell her where they should meet she immediately knew who it was and she went to the place well dressed and ready to meet her ex boyfriend Benjamin, hoping it wouldn't go ask bad as she thought it would be.
