Lee Sora

"That's some next-level shit, Jimin" The elder sighed towards the younger boy.

"What do you mean? You've hacked into some top-class classified documents, right?" Jimin furrowed his eyebrows and questioned Yoongi, wondering why he refused his request.

Taehyung had suggested that he'd ask his older cousin for help and Jimin took Taehyung's idea into consideration and after many days and nights where he tried to attempt to get into contact with his cousin, Yoongi, he finally asked him if he could do a favor.

Yoongi clearly had the skills to get into anything he wanted: documents, records, and much more. He could do all of those and get out without a trace. He was known as one of the best hackers though his identity was kept hidden. He obviously never went by his name instead he went by a pseudonym called 'gloss'. It sounded feminine so most people thought he was a female hence he kept his gender hidden too. He had the equipment that had worked well and was one of the computers used by governments. If he had everything right by his palm, why is he hesitating?

"I could do it. It's just I don't want you to get into trouble, Jimin." Yoongi replied, "I mean, this is illegal."

"So? You do it all the time." Jimin reasoned. "What's the big deal?"

"The big deal is that, I don't want you to get into this illegal stuff," Yoongi said, having concern for his younger cousin.

Yoongi had been in the IT industry for many years and he was a part-time hacker. He first started by getting his neighbor's wifi passwords and later hacking into classified documents for large sums of money. But he always kept his work life and his personal life separate. Not only because he could get caught, but because he knew exactly some of the people he is close to would have an unfair advantage and would try to abuse it. And that is what exactly is happening. Jimin had happened to just barge in his room while he was hacking into some government documents and he found out about Yoongi's other life. He didn't want the people he cared about to be in the illegal world. He knew stuff could get dirty although he was fully into the underground-mafia world. Yoongi wouldn't care if it was him that gets into trouble because he always finds out a way to get out of it, but if it was his family, he wouldn't know what he'd do.

"Yoongi, I've been trying to know who this girl is for over a month and I cannot get a good night's sleep without knowing who she is and why she feels like she's been in my life before. Nothing will happen. I promise. You're a very good hacker, right?" He flattered Yoongi.

Yoongi contemplated a bit before looking at Jimin's desperate face and sighing. "Fine." He finally gave up. "If you get into trouble, that's not on me." He said, knowing that he would do beyond and more to get Jimin out of trouble.

Jimin squealed and jumped a bit in excitement and Yoongi faintly smiled and went towards his computer. He turned on his pc and started to do his job. Jimin put one hand on the table where the computer was on and the other on Yoongi's shoulder and watched his cousin's screen.

After some time, he finally got into the records of the hospital. He scrolled through the patients, ironically coming across Jimin's records. After a few minutes of scrolling and searching, while Jimin impatiently taps his fingers on the table, he finally came across a familiar face.

"Wait!" He exclaimed making Yoongi startle and pause his doings. "That one."

"Her?"

"Yeah."

Yoongi clicked on her file, opening it. After skimming a bit, he had enough information about the mysterious female.

"Apparently, her name is Sora and she's around your age, 17." He looked at Jimin while talking and looked back at the page to find more information about her. "Woah, look at this"

"She was admitted to the hospital because she fainted because of fatigue. Get this, she's in a mental institution!" He said, amused. "This your girl?" He looked at Jimin, raising an eyebrow.

However, Jimin did not utter a single word. His eyes kept hovering over her picture still in surprise that they actually found her. He admired her features bit by bit from her doe eyes to her plump lips and her complexion which seemed a bit inappropriate at a time like this. He felt a wave of a shock coming over him when he heard that she was in a mental institution.

"Why?" He mumbled, asking why she was admitted there.

"I'm not sure," Yoongi mumbled back. "It doesn't say."

He pulled out a new page on google and typed in the words 'Lee Sora' to see if there was any news regarding as to why she was there and nothing showed up.

"Nope. Nothing." Yoongi said.

"Do they have a number there? Maybe I could call her family."

"You're really dedicated, huh?" Yoongi asked. "You must like her a lot."

"Not the first time I've heard that."

Yoongi pulled out his phone and typed the phone number on the screen and sent the message to Jimin.

Yoongi stood up from his comfortable and stretched bait before looking at Jimin.

"Thank you so much, Yoongi!" he said, before hugging the older male.

"Stay out of trouble."

"I will." And with that, he left Yoongi's room while Yoongi sighed.

"Please, stay out of trouble."

Jimin excited Yoongi's apartment after bidding him goodbye and taking out his phone to see the message that Yoongi sent. He dashed home because he didn't want to call from his mobile number, instead, he wanted to call from the landline number at home.

His steps quickened, beads of sweat framed on the skin of his forehead and falling. It wasn't a hot, sunny day, in fact, It was rather a cold day. The climate was cool and there was no sunlight to be seen even though it was noon. Yet he felt so hot, he felt his hands getting sweaty and he felt suffocated and anxious. He felt happy yet nervous that he finally found the mysterious girl that had been running on his mind, but what did he want to do next?

He spent countless nights making plan after plan to find her but now what? He had everything planned out until now. What was his next step? He thought he'd just be relieved that he found her but he'd never given thought to what he would do after this and that made his heart beat rise and his mind roar with infinite questions.

He thought maybe this was a bad idea. To just leave it. He'd found the girl, he should have some inner peace now, right? But the thought that he knew her made him so curious.

Without even knowing he had already come to his lane. It was a fifteen-minute walk, but it felt like five minutes. He wished time went slower so he could push calling this number further, but he had to do what he had to do.

He stood outside of his house and went inside to see his mom not being home. He went inside the kitchen to see no sign of her until he saw a sticky note pasted onto the fridge.

Won't be back till night. Got caught up at work! There's some rice and kimchi in the fridge, heat it.

He sighed and went towards the living area where his landline phone was. He picked it up and took out his phone to see the number Yoongi had sent. He slowly typed the numbers on the landline and kept it to his ear. He slightly tapped his fingertips on his thigh as the rings kept going.

Someone finally picked up the phone.

"Hello?" The lady answered.

Jimin didn't know what to say. He gulped the dry lump in his throat.

"Hello."

"Park Jimin?"
