The Good Old Times || Chapter 2

After the conversation with Tubbo, Tommy thought about what Tubbo said but should he? What if Tubbo's right? But Tommy knew he had to do this, after all. Dream ruined his life and only caused him pain during his exile, he couldn't stop remembering all of those stuffs. Then, someone came to him. 

Wilbur Soot, formal president of L'Manburg, the man who blew up his own country. Tommy looked at him in disbelief, since after Wilbur's revival; things just had been the same.. but not quite yet. Wilbur put a big wide smile on his face slapping the back of Tommy's head saying, 

"If you are going to fight that fucking green blob, you need to think of his weakness and you don't want to end up being back to where you started, right Tommy?" 

Tommy sighed, he knows that. But Dream's weakness? How is he supposed to figure out his weakness is? Tommy thought, even if he did figure out his weakness. He'll never use it against him, but for all he wants is to put Dream a stop and a end to this. But how? 

He looked at Wilbur but he's just showing his wide cheery smile on his face, Tommy sometimes doesn't believed that this was the old Wilbur Soot he once knew, his friend, his brother. He seem different, well not all of him. But sometimes, Tommy wonder if ever one day there'll be ever peace between everyone. The fighting is all just pointless, leading to nowhere except destruction and death. The war before? It lead to nothing. What was the point of it? 

As Tommy looked at Wilbur, looking at him in the eyes. He said to him, 

"Are you really Wilbur?" He asked. 

Wilbur raised an eyebrow looking at Tommy confusingly but more curiously, is he really Wilbur? Wilbur let out a laugh before smiling towards Tommy, 

"Oh Tommy, am I really 'Wilbur'..? What an odd question you ask!" He burst into laughter.

Tommy chuckled nervously, what an odd question indeed. But there are times where he didn't believed or trust that Wilbur is the man he knew before, or it could be someone else that's pretending to be him. But as far as he knows, it's really him. 

Nothing could ever lie to him, even if he pinched himself, hit himself on the head, he'll still see Wilbur right there and right in front of him. Nothing else, just him and Wilbur. But if he missed the good old times, the old times where everything was in peace but also chaos; the good old times where everyone used to be happy before it all burned down to the ground.

"Wilbur, what do you miss the most?" Tommy asked.

Wilbur looked at Tommy, what does he miss the most? Well, he could lie if he said he didn't miss anything but he miss most of the.. memories. He may be the bad guy that everyone sees but deep down inside, there was a bit of good in him. He miss the good old times like Tommy did, as he smiled towards him. 

... 

"Everything."

"Everything..?" Tommy questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"What? Don't believe me?" 

"It's not that, it's just so hard to-.. well, after the whole stupid fucking revival thing." Tommy mumbled the last part softly. 

Wilbur's expression changed, of course he would have said that; he thought. The revival was.. unexpected, he was just sitting in the station when the train arrived and Ghostbur was there along with Dream. Even though he's happy to be back, there were just some few parts of him that didn't felt happy for a reason. Why did he felt not happy? He's glad to be back, Dream was his savior, his hero but he felt unhappy. Almost as if he's missing something, but what was it? He'll never know what it is that he's missing. 

"Well, now you do. See you around champ." Wilbur smile softly as he ruffled Tommy's hair before waving goodbye then leaving Tommy to be on his way. 

As Tommy stood there, he think again about his decision and finally.. he had made up his mind but will it be the right thing to do though? Tommy thought, who could he go to for help or advice? Phil? What about Techno? Since when was the last time he met him? He can't recalled, not after the time he betrayed him but as time pass; everyone move on and change. 

But for Tommy, he didn't do that. He has not move on nor change, he was still himself. Regular old TommyInIt, the annoying raccoon child. But could he really gather up the courage on fighting Dream? What if Dream had made a plan and kill him? Surely not, right? Tommy sighed a bit kicking the ground with his foot, a plan. Tommy thought, if all goes wrong; that is where he'll end. But it will be fine, Tommy knew what to do, all he needs is to confront Dream and stand up for himself. 

But the time is not now, sooner or later. He'll have to stand up to Dream for himself and confront him. One way or another, Tommy can finally be free from this misery. 

Of course, he'll be free and be out of pain. If only he knew what was awaiting for him when he and Dream face to face each other soon..
