sheldons POV:
it's the first day of comicon and i'm dressed like spock me Leonard Howard and Raj all have been planning this for weeks. we also brought along penny and Bernadette. "your costume looks really nice sheldon" penny said while adjusting her cat woman suit. " thanks amy" i replied unhappy. "come on sheldon i know your still down but your at comicon you can be sad when we get back home" Leonard said trying to cheer me up. "i guess your right and i heard the creator of star trek is gonna be here" i said with a little hope of gleam.

y/n POV:
"come on Kevin i got all the one punch man merch i need" i said with a bag filled with figures, manga, and posters. "okay here i come, why is this building so hot" he said holding on to me as we move through the swarm of people. "Kevin i know i'm the smart one but you should at least know how body heat works" i said giggling still pushing through the crowd. we finally made it to the booth we came early and there was a lot of seats open. "come on Kevin let's set in the middle end row" i said pointing to the seats.

Sheldon's POV:
"yes where here early let's do the end of middle row" i said to Leonard. "why do we have to sit there wouldn't the front be better" Bernadette asked. "if you get the middle you won't hurt your neck trying to look up and also the end allows you to move without having to cross over people" i explained leading us to the seats. while making sure my costume was perfect i look up and i see her. y/n she was dressed as super sound sonic the suit fit her like a glove she was glowing.

y/n POV:
"yeah my mom loved the show that's why i wanna watch so i can tell her about it" i said to Kevin explaining why i wanted to come to this Q&A booth. as i look back at my walking path to our seats my eyes land on him Sheldon cooper phd. he was looking at me up and down mesmerized by every inch of me. Kevin noticed and spoke "so you guys like star wars too" he said getting the two mixed up which triggered me "it's star trek not star wars they aren't even in the same time period" me and Sheldon said in sync. "umm my fault" Kevin said feeling the awkward tension. "come on love let's go sit" Kevin said grabbing my hand leading me to our seats.

Sheldon's POV:
"wow well that was embarrassing" Howard said trying to break the awkward silence. "i'm gonna get her back" i said determined. "dude you saw the way that guy swept her away" Raj said. "that maybe true but i know y/n and one thing she loves is a man who remembers which is something he doesn't do" i said proudly. "how do you know he doesn't remember stuff" penny asked. "he's wearing y/n's shirt meaning he did not want to be here" i said making my observation. "Or maybe she brought him a matching shirt" Leonard said. "psh what do you know about intelligent woman" i said brushing him off. "i can't tell if that was a shot at me or him" penny said. "both" i said. "yep we got our old Sheldon back he's serious" Leonard said.

y/n POV:
after day one of comi con me and Kevin went out to eat at this restaurant. "so are we gonna talk about the elephant in the room" Kevin said looking down at his glass. "what elephant?" i asked. "this is the 3 time you've ran into your ex I'm starting to think you came here to see him" he said in a serious tone. "oh my god Kevin be serious right now he's a smart nerd who lives in cali why wouldn't he come to one of the biggest convictions in cali" i said hurt by him even thinking that. "okay but what about the gala" he said looking up at me. "it was an award ceremony AND HE WON AN AWARD come on Kevin if you want to dance around a way to break up with me just be truthful" i said annoyed by his assumptions. "i am being truthful you still love him don't you" he said in a broken voice. i sat for a minute to really think about it. " i guess i have my answer i'll see you at work on Monday" he said getting up and leaving.

what the hell is up with men in my life. i finished eating and went back to the hotel and saw that all of Kevin things where gone and he left a note: i will always love you but it's time i started listening to you and keep our relationship strictly friends and co workers -K
"WHERE TF WAS THIS ENERGY IN CHAPTER 9" i shouted. i just change into my pajamas and get ready to sleep.

the next day i wake up and get dressed. "who the hell goes to comi con by themselves" i said sitting on my bed. i had to find someone to go with but my friends list was getting smaller since kevin was my real only friend. but then something hit me i can just ask my old childhood friend who lives in the area. i pick up my phone and i start calling. "hello..." said the other person on the line. "JESSI it's me y/n so i have a ticket to comi con but my plus one bailed on me could you please come with me i'll pay for everything" i pleaded with her. "what show are we cosplaying from" she said basically giving me a yes. "AAAA I LOVE YOU SO MUCH i have a storm costume and a Wanda costume" i said . "oh o love Wanda" she said. "okay send me your address we can get dressed at your place" i said hanging up and packing a little suit case.
