when my speech was over we where free to mingle kevin left me at our table to go get some food. leaving me alone with the racist men who where gonna quiz me to see if i was really who i say i am. "so how does that glass thing work" said a old pale balding man. "well i mean i did a whole speech on how it works" i said annoyed. "yeah but i wanna hear you explain it in depth" he said chuckling. "if you have any question you can read the about it on my website" i said trying my best to not get angry. "i just wanna know if you even know what you presenting" he said pushing me over edge.

"listen here i have work my ass off making and creating this for my company nylon i'm not gonna sit here and answer you fuck ton of questions like you're a damn toddler" i said. which sheldon over heard and felt the need to interfere. "oh sir i'm sorry about her she gets upset when she hasn't had food" he said apologizing to the man. "oh i understand it so hard to find good help these days" he said chuckling and walking away with a drink in his hand. "HARD TO FIND WHAT" i yelled walking after him but was stop by sheldon. "don't make a scene these are the world's best business men and scientists" he said pulling me back to my table.

"so because of his status you just think he can treat me anyway, is that it" i said. "no y/n it's not that, it's these people are important to your success so being on there good side is better" he said sitting down. "so my success is more important to my dignity... sheldon that man spoke to me as if i was a fucking toddler" i said slamming my hand on the table.

by now kevin was on his way back and caught the last few words i had said. "woah what's going on love?" kevin asked with 2 plates in hand. "i'm fine i just wanna eat and go home" i said grabbing a plate. "so this is kevin i presume" sheldon said turning his body to face kevin. "yeah and you must be the loser who didn't believe her" kevin said back.

"so what did you think would happen you save her from a mean old man and she would just forgive you" he said laughing. "kevin not now i just wanna eat and go home" i said as i started eating my food. " okay love, but you ghost boy you gotta go" kevin said gesturing sheldon out of his seat.

"one thing before i go..... y/n i still love and ill always love you and i'm sorry" he said walking away. i stayed silent turning to figure out this storm of emotions he just released. i got up and grabbed his arm. "what right do have to love me all you did was complain and didn't trust me and you still have the balls to say you love me?" i said to him tearing up.

"i'm leaving" i said walking back and grabbing kevin and leaving. "woah daniels be calm we're still at a big event" he said to me as i pulled him through the building but stopped mid way. "kevin please i just wanna go back home" i said pleading. "go home but the event just started" amy said walking over to us. "oh have you seen my boyfriend sheldon i swear he always disappears" she said emphasizing the boyfriend part. "wait you guys started dating?" i said with a little hurt in my voice. "yes we started dating i wanna say a week after you went back to new york" she giggled.

kevin grabbed me and moved me out of her eye sight and lead me to the car. "what the fuck is it with people being dick heads tonight" he said as the noise from the party disappeared as we got farther away. i laughed at the comment and just wanted to focus on anything but what happened tonight. we went back to kevin's house and watched shang chi. "so this guy is immortal" kevin asked. "well yes and no he's immortal if he had the rings" i said. "well we're did they come from" he asked. " just watch the movie you dumbass" i said throwing a pillow in his face.

"fine fine come here so i can warm up" he said grabbing me onto his lap as i leaned into his chest. i knew what he was trying to do but i didn't mind i had grown fawn of kevin since we spent a month together. he is a very sweet guy who cares about me and wouldn't start dating a random girl a week after we fucking break up but i digress.

we fell asleep on the couch together with blankets wrapped around us. when i woke up my head was on his chest and his arms were locked around my waist and i couldn't get up even if i tried. "kevin wake up i have to pee" i said trying to shake him awake but he didn't budge. "i swear if you don't wake up i will punch you" i said sliding one hand out of the bear trap hug he had me in. as i went to slap him awake a hand grabbed me and twist me around so that i was laying with my back on the couch. "good morning love you look beautiful" he said kissing my forehead.

"yeah anyway get up and get off" i said pushing him off me. "okay but what do you want to do today we got all the really paper work done so now we can just hang out" he said sitting on the couch as i got up to pee. "i don't know i down for whatever i need to get my hair done soon these braids ain't braiding no more" i said scratching my head. "hey we can do a wash day for you" he said walking behind me. "okay but let me pee first" i said closing the door on him.

"okay so we have everything right?" i asked kevin. "yes now let me work my magic" he said gesturing me to lay back. he took down my braids and gave me a good wash. "thanks kevin" i said finishing blow drying my hair. "you should wear your natural hair out in afro" he said walking up to me and poofing my hair out. "sure why not" i said pulling out my phone.

sheldon pov:
"so sheldon where did you go off to? amy went looking for you" leonard asked me. "oh i was just looking around" i said dropping my head into my lap. "you went looking for y/n didn't you" penny said. "i wouldn't say looking i just so happen to find her" i rebuted. "well how is she doing" penny asked. "she's been getting close to 'kevin' and still has resentment against me" i said. "well can you get mad at her for moving on. i mean she came back to you with another girl" leonard said.

"but if she loved me shouldn't she come running back in my arms like in pennys chick flics" i said dramaticly waving my arms. "sheldon sweetie this is real life" penny said rubbing my back. "oh sheldon there you are i've been looking all over for you" amy said sitting down next to me. she leaned in to give me a kiss on the cheek but i stopped her. "amy we should break up" i said moving over. "wait why is it because of y/n" she asked shocked and hurt. "yes i used you as a distraction to keep my mind off her and i realized that was wrong and i apologize" i said bowing my head in shame. "i hope i never see you again sheldon cooper" she said getting up and leaving.

"well you know what that was easy. like taking a band aid off just had to go right for it" i said happy about my new found freedom. "now i have to find out where y/n is staying and get her back" i said standing up. "woah buddy first you have to figure out how your gonna get her back cause kevin has crawled his way into her life" he said making my thoughts pounder. kevin was a sexually appalling man but he doesn't have my brain so i'll just have to use that.
