Chapter 5: The Search

Soo, ya might be wondering, why is it named the search and not the ruins? I wanted my friends and the news on the surface to also have a little bit of screentime and the point of view as well. I realized I had gotten dull at writing the main character while underground the last chapter, so I wanted a little break hehe.

Representing Princess's point of view.

It's been two days.. (Y/n) wasn't going to come back. They might be dead or eaten alive by some bears but.. No traces. They must've walked around or got lost no. They died.

(Y/n)'s dad, Dad/Name has been panicking wondering where his beloved child has gone..

It was my fault. I should have not dared them to climb up Mt. Ebott, I knew they aren't going to come back infact, they're dead. Nowhere to be found.

No traces.

My boyfriend, Alexis decides to calm me down alongside with my two friends, Lia and Dorothy.

"I'm sure they'll come by. They like pulling pranks on us.."

Lia said reassuring me. It's been a few hours after (Y/n) was announced missing near the Mountain.

My friends have been trying their best to console and comfort me, well since obviously I was the one who dared for them to climb up the mountain..

"I- I just hope that this is a nightmare.."

I sobbed while hugging my boyfriend. My friends patted my back.

"Come on, princess. I'm sure they'll come back, let's rest for now it's midnight."

Dorothy said, she was really trying her best since it's her first time seeing me break down and feel vulnerable.

"It's been a long rough night. We'll stay over your place once again Dorothy."

The two females walked away feeling guilty and saddened by the sudden news that she had been missing. My boyfriend still continues to hug me.

"Ahem, hello. Miss Princess?"

The policewoman asked me. I nodded while my boyfriend is hugging me.

"I need a few questions answered honestly."

The policewoman said. Well, here goes nothing... I hope they understand.

"So apparently, one night ago, Saturday. A sleepover was held by Miss Dorothy?"

I nodded at the curious policewoman. She then wrote something on her paper.

"So.. Five people were present including the victim, (Y/n) (L/n)?"

I nodded at the policewoman, she wrote something again as she sat beside me at the park bench.

"In the depths of the night, you hosted a game. What game was it?"

The policewoman asked. Her blonde hair lighting up and her face more visible.

"A game of t-truth o-or da-are.."

I managed to mutter it out before tears broke down again. A nightmare, this is a nightmare.

The policewoman wrote again at her paper and clearing a lock of blonde hair that got on her face.

"Well then, last question. Did you dare her to do something that lead to her missing status?"

The policewoman asked me, her green eyes flaring up, eager for answers and curiosity rises up..

"I- I d-dared the-them to climb M-mt. Eb-Ebott."

I said at the police woman while sobbing at my boyfriends chest.

"Thank you for cooperating, Miss Princess. I will go now."

The policewoman excused herself and went to her fellow detectives who gave me a glare. I could hear them muttering..

"Apparently, they're stupid especially that girl."

"Why would she do that even she knows that the victim will also go missing."

"Our suspect clearly had no mind."

"I bet she wanted to get rid of the victim."

"Terribly cruel for someone to do that."

'I'm sorry.. I regret doing that to you, (Y/n). Please just come back...'

I whispered enough for me and only me to hear.

Representing Dad's point of view.

I sipped my coffee while getting the updates on the news.

The news about my child spread like wildfire nationwide. This is my 17th coffee this midnight. I hope my child is okay..

"Hello citizens of America. A terrible news case about the missing children at Mt. Ebott. Apparently, a teenager named (Y/n) (L/n) has been reported missing by her 4 friends. This has been the 8th case of the Mt. Ebott case, what will the government do?"

The news boy said. I sighed as I drank the last bit of my coffee. I suddenly dropped my mug.

'You're weak.'

'You can't even prevent your oldest child to follow your younger child's path, Frisk.'

I clutched my head while the voices rang through my head driving me to insanity.

'Seriously! Frisk went missing and (Y/n), went mising too? How irresponsible are you?!'

"Stop it please.."

The voices tormented me for a while. Hunting me.

Heck. My writings are cheesy and bad as heck! I mean, who will even enjoy reading something they can't imagine? I'm the worst Author out there.
