The arranged marriage

The news

Chloes POV
today was my 21st birthday and my parents said they have some amazing news to tell me and I'm honestly excited normally I'm not excited to have news as it always stars with chloe we need to talk or chloe come here please.

Im walking to my fathers office to be greeted my the doorman Eric he's my only friend in the palace.

"Father you wished to see me?" I say in a polite tone
"Ah yes Chloe come take a seat" he greets me with a warm smile "so as it's your 21st birthday and me and your mother are getting quite old now...don't tell your mother I called her old" he said "I won't" I say with a smile "ok then and you are now 21...and you can't rule this kingdom on your own so I was talking with my old friend mark and he got a son only 4 years older then you he's a very nice young man and he will be your husband" he informs me.

I start to feel my blood boil and I lose it "WHAT!!" I shout "Chloe dear please don't shout" he asks
"But you've set me up an arranged marriage without my permission you didn't even think to evaluate my opinion before says 'let's do it' or whatever" I say mad
"Look its what's best to r the kingdom and it's your duty and a princess" he says "god sometimes I wish I wasn't a princess" and with that I make a run for the stables and get on my horse pearl.

THOMAS POV
"Dad I'm sorry but you know what it means to me to find love" I say "I'm sorry son but it's for the best your older brother gets the throne when I die and she is first in line within king" he informed me "but why me" I ask
"Thomas you know max (younger brother) already has a princess as a girlfriend and in 5 years she will be 21 and entitled to her throne and if it goes well they'll get married and rule together and as for Noah(older brother) he's entitled to our throne" he says trying to keep calm "sometimes I wish I was never a prince in the bloody century" I say walking out of my fathers office going to the stables to get my horse jack.

"Hey bud" I say while stroking jacks fur "your lucky don't have any responsibility's just have to sit here"
"Come on let's get you out of here for a bit" I say mounting him.

As I'm riding along deep into the woods I hear something more likely someone.

"Chloe that's what being a princess is about" the person says "well being a princess my arse" they say again I get of jack and walk towards the person.

When I see her my jaw practically drops she so beautiful with her brown hair and blue eyes she's just wow

CHLOE POV
as I'm pacing back and forwards "hello miss" I hear I turn to see a boy dirty blond hair a chocolate brown eyes "oh umm hi" I say "sorry I FB I interrupted anything you just seem annoyed" he says " well I am annoyed my dad is just ugh" I say to him "tell me about it my dad is just the same" he tells me " I don't get it why can't dads just leave us alone and let us get on the OUR lives" I groan
"I know right" he says.

We talked for hours laughing together and all that kind of stuff but then I realised the time "shit shit shit" I say quickly getting up "what's wrong"Thomas says "have you not seen the time" I say pointing to the clock in town
"God" he also saying running to his horse "well it was lovely meeting you princess I hope to see you again" he says with a genuine smile "you to" I say a smile back.

And with that we went our separate ways.
