"I can't believe you joined that fight Enna," remarked Lucy; who in all honesty, thought Enna was the only sane one in the guild.

The brunette wizard shrugged her shoulders like it was nothing to be concerned about. "Even when I was a kid this is how Fairy Tail was. Fights in our guild can happen over nothing in particular, they're very common, and despite us being deemed the trouble makers of the guild society, you can't change our ways completely no matter how hard you try." She turned a table over, adjusting the benches to fit around it as though nothing had happened. "Joining in here and there does some good, you should try it sometime."

Lucy smiled as she took a seat next to Enna on one of the benches she had just rearranged. Lucy was still getting used to the fact that she too, was a Fairy Tail member as she lifted her hand up to admire the guild mark on her palm. Most of the guild had been repaired after the next round of brawling had come to an end; some guild members were unconscious, so Enna pulled out a stack of blankets that were hidden away behind the bar for cases such as this one. It was common for this to happen so the guild liked to be prepared.

The sun was peaking over the horizon at this point, lighting up the guild hall, meaning it wasn't long until the morning mail came and come it did. The slumbering members of Fairy Tail were brutally awakened by the Master's screams. Enna peaked up at the Master who stood on the bar just a few feet from Enna, she rolled her eyes as Natsu's name was the first audible thing to come out of the old man's mouth.

Enna allowed herself to block out the normal speech of disciple; noting people by name as bills came in for damages they caused on jobs, then burning the bills and angry letters, and boasting about Fairy Tail pride and growing your magic power means you can't be sucking up to the higher ups in the Council. Enna learned growing up in this guild that yes, the Master didn't appreciate the constant breathing down his neck from the council but he cared more about the wellbeing of his children.

It wasn't that Enna didn't feel the same pride rising as her guildmates did at their Master's speech, she had heard it enough over the years that she didn't feel guilty finding her cloak and taking her leave out of the guild, as the doors closed behind her she smiled at the faint image of Natsu jumping up to catch the flaming papers.

Magnolia never seems to change despite the guild that rose above the rest of the bustling city. It was a good thing that is, as no matter how long Enna was away on jobs, she always felt at home the moment she stepped onto the familiar cobblestone. Though she loved the town, she loved the nature that surrounded it just a tad bit more.

She made her way through the tress of Magnolia and away from the crowds, it wasn't long before Enna found herself nestled away in the leaves by a small pond. Sitting down she relaxed against an old tree. It wasn't long before she flickered her wrist upwards, causing some water to jet upwards into the air in a little stream. A voice broke Enna from her thoughts "I knew I would find you here."

Enna didn't even need to look up, she knew who it was as the air felt a bit colder as they approached her. "I wasn't lost Gray" she smirked mainly to herself as she felt him huff.

"Geez, just wanted to talk is all." Enna laughed looking up at him as he sat besides her.

She held her hands up in a defensive manner, before flicking her wrist, directing the water towards Gray who froze it before shaping it into a beautiful ice sculpture of a Fairy Tail symbol. The two sat there just juggling in a way, once the ice reached Enna she turned it back to water before Gray would freeze it once again. "I remember the first time we did this" Gray remarked.

Enna smiled "yeah me too. I also remember you wearing more clothes." She turned the water into a spiral before tossing it back to Gray glaring at him for a moment "just don't get any smart ideas."

Gray looked down, his chest now bare, "Hey! Give me a moment to explain myself would you." Enna quirked an eyebrow at him, waiting for an explanation she waved her hand as a way to tell him to continue on. Gray only shrugged his shoulders, "it just happens alright."

"Uh huh yeah Gray." She replied humoredly. Neither one of them spoke for a while as they relaxed into each other's presence with the added benefit of peace.

Gray was hesitant to break the silence but as he examined the way Enna twirled the water between her fingers he inhaled, "Enna?" She hummed in response as she continued to fiddle with the water. "Don't take this the wrong way but, do you think it's time for you to stop going on jobs alone?"

Her attention was all on him now, the water had fallen, soaking her pants but she couldn't care less. "What do you mean?" She asked with her brows furrowed.

Hesitantly he sighed, "you know there are other people in the guild who would love to join you on jobs or quests besides Gildarts. You don't have to be alone all the time." Enna remained silent, her eyes already on Gray's when he looked up at her. "The guild worries you know?"

Enna nodded her head thoughtfully. It felt strange that she didn't ask for any more context despite the look in her eyes that wanted for more. Enna placed a smile on her face that didn't reach her eyes, it barely caused the corner of her lips to turn upwards despite laughing out "you remember the last time I went on a job with someone that wasn't Gildarts?"

The knowing look in her eyes made Gray grimace and nod in submission. Neither of them had to mention anything else towards that job. The two of them had gone on a job with Cana, the three of them finished the job flawlessly that is, until well-

Gray shook his head vigorously "It wasn't my fault!" He defended.

"Really?" Enna snickered, "let's recall what wasn't your fault." Gray opened his mouth to speak which Enna cut him off and began counting on her fingers, "stripping in town square, stealing underwear from a clothes line, almost thrown in jail for public indecency but instead receiving a fine bigger than our reward put together, oh and what was that last one, being banned from that town?"

Gray sheepishly smiled, his hand rubbing the back of his neck, "they blew it out of proportion." Enna's eyebrows shot up in amusement, her lips curling into a bigger smirk than before. "Putting that aside, it is great to have you home Enna, especially in time for Erza and Natsu to fight. You know what that means don't you?"

Enna's smirk disappeared, now replaced with her mouth left agape at the fact that Erza finally agreed to fighting Natsu let alone, Natsu thinking he stood a chance against the red head. But the realization sunk in, "that means-"

Gray chuckled, cutting her off  "yup" popping the 't' as he knew it would annoy her further. "It's time for you to uphold up your end of the bet." He stood up, wiping off his jeans and reaching a hand out for Enna, helping her to her feet. Enna watched his back in disdain for what was about to happen as he walked away. Gray threw his head over his shoulder, calling back to her "you coming?"

She dejectedly nodded, causing Gray to laugh "why did I agree?" She muttered under her breath as she caught up to the ice wizard.

--Hey guys I really appreciate the people who have been reading this story so far. I know this could be seen as more of a filler chapter but It's to sort of build up to the where I want it while also trying to develop on who Enna is and etc. etc. There will be more action in the next chapter I promise but besides that if you have any suggestions or you want something added or specific to the story feel free to leave a comment or send me a message. I am trying to stay with at least a thousand words per chapter, this one is 1487, the semester has started and I do have a job so sometimes uploads can be a little varied but I am going to do my best to keep it at least once a week. That's all for now! <3
