The air was thick with excitement as the two wizards made their way back to the guildhall. The rest of the guild had formed a circle around Erza and Natsu, excitedly chanting for them to fight.
"Hey, there you are!" A voice chirped, the familiar blonde waved over Enna and Gray.
Enna smiled at the blonde, "Hey Lucy, why so stressed?"
Lucy stared at Enna dumbfounded. "Aren't you going to stop this? A brawl here and there isn't bad, but this?" She turned, gesturing to Erza and Natsu staring each other down "this is barbaric!"
Gray laughed, nudging Enna's shoulder. "Just wait for what else is in store " Lucy looked between the two wizards, trying to piece together a scenario that would make the fight that was about to happen any worse. With her mouth left agape and Enna left glaring Gray down, she couldn't help but ask what else could happen.
Mira was the first one to speak up, "has the day finally come?" Lucy felt lost as Gray nodded and Enna groaned. Mira almost squealed in excitement, causing Enna to roll her eyes. Never did she think that the day when Erza voluntarily fought Natsu would come, let alone, she had to uphold her own bet - fighting Gray.
Don't get it twisted, this wasn't a sought out fight, despite the enthusiasm from the rest of the guild as they slowly began to figure out what was happening. Erza called out from the middle of the circle, causing members of the guild to slowly back away, allowing Enna to make eye contact with Erza. "Do you want to make this interesting?" Enna's interest perked as Erza gestured with her hand, motioning for Enna and Gray to join in.
Natsu, who was previously smiling, now looked angry at the idea that his fight with Erza was becoming a tag team battle. Glaring at the two female wizards who stood facing him and Gray, he tightened his fists "hey! I didn't agree to this!"
"Oh Natsu, why so sad? You have been begging to fight both of us for so long." Enna joked, egging him.
Natsu pointed at Gray "yeah that was until you paired me with the Ice Princess!"
Gray's amused expression turned ice cold as he glared at Natsu "watch it flame brain."
"Now now now you two, focus your energy on us." Erza spook up, "unless you already want to forfeit?" The redhead crossed her arms over her chest, a playful smirk tugging at her lips.
Their reactions caused Enna's own smirk to turn into an amused smile. Natsu, who was holding onto this strong and fearless façade couldn't hold on to it anymore as Enna slowly stalked into the circle. She could hear him gulp and Gray hesitantly stood next to Natsu. "Where is that big strong energy at now?"
Natsu took a deep breath, standing straight once again and looked at Gray, a warning frown on his face "don't mess this up." Gray, despite trying to insinuate that Natsu was the one he was worried about messing this up for them, he nonetheless nodded his head as he looked back.
"Is anyone else worried about this?" Lucy's voice was barely heard over the crowd as the rest of the guild was chanting. She scoffed at Mira as she the white haired wizard shrugged her shoulders, giving Lucy a smile that showed no worries. It made no sense to for anyone to worry as their own Guild Master was cheering on the fight, a cup of booze in his hand.
The members of the guild who weren't partaking in the fight were all on their feet, clapping along with the countdown. The two female wizards stood, staring down the two male wizards; awaiting for the signal to start from Mirajane.
It was almost instantaneous; Erza requipped into her Heaven's Wheel armor, Enna casted her Obsidian and Ice Blades, Natsu screamed out a "Fire Dragon's Roar" in Erza's direction and Gray bellowed an "Ice-Make Geyser" towards Enna.
The arena was coated in dust and as it slowly cleared only Gray and Natsu could be seen. Natsu cheered slightly, thinking that they blasted them so far backwards, certain they won. But as a tap could be felt on their shoulders, Gray's suspicions were confirmed. They turned their heads, only catching a glimpse of the girls' smiles before they were thrown backwards by the force of the girls' magic.
It was remarkable really, thinking how just a simple slash of sword from either mage resulted in extreme power. Natsu and Gray usually thought so, but as they rubbed their heads gingerly, trying to get back on their feet, they hated it more than ever. "Wow" Enna scoffed, "I'm surprised they're still standing."
An annoyed huff came from Erza, which was then followed by a dark smile "not for long." Enna didn't have to guess what that meant as Erza rushed forward, requipping into her Lighting Empress Armor and began to assault the two boys bolts of lighting as they tried to doge it.
Enna watched them from afar for a moment, examining the pattern in which the boys moved before she called out "Quicksand!" She smirked as the boys landed in the magic circle, the Earth beneath them engulfed their legs, dragging them down.
That was one plus side of Enna's magic; manipulating the elements to do her bidding so whether it was direct damage or trapping an opponent, she always found a way. So as the boys began to struggle, trying to pull themselves out of the pit of quicksand she lifted her Ice and Obsidian Blades "Steam Spikes!" The Ice melted and the obsidian became a mesh of fire, the fire was then put out and the water was turned to steam before it jetted towards the two boys.
As soon as they were hit by the steam, the fight was over, Natsu and Gray fell over and the two girls met each other's glances before laughing. Enna dismantled the quicksand with a swish of her hand and the boys were now on solid ground. The guild went wild "They're such men that they defeated two men!" Screamed Elfman as he clapped along with the rest of the guild.
Confusion coated Cana's features as she looked up at him "am I drunk or did he not make any sense?"
Macao rested a hand on the brunette's shoulder, "You're drunk for sure, but he might be too because that made zero sense."
The circle of guild members laughed before Mirajane proclaimed that there was food inside and they should celebrate a fantastic battle. The fellow wizards rushed inside, leaving Enna and Erza alone with the two unconscious boys. "Should we leave them here or?" Enna questioned, pondering their options.
"I would say we could always bring them some food, let them rest for a bit out here but we might forget." The redhead bent down, grabbing a fist full of Natsu's scarf.
"I like your style Erza" Enna replied as she looked around for a moment, Gray wasn't wearing a shirt and she wouldn't risk accidently ripping his pants as this was one of the rare moments he was actually wearing some. Having no other options she grabbed a hold of one of his boots and began dragging him alongside Erza, who was dragging Natsu, back into the guild.
