The girls ended up making it to the school around 10 minutes after the max thing. We told them what had happened and they told us what they found out at the library how this wasn't vecnas first rodeo and he had killed like this before a while back. Then max began to tell us about the symptoms she had and how they were the same as the last two victims.

My blood ran cold, She could be Next? She kept talking about it the zoning out the clock clicking the voice the hallucinations and lastly how all the victims die in the next 24 hours after their first symptom. We stop when we heard a noise me and Steve made eye contact and quietly made our way out of the room, Steve grabbed a mob and so did I.

We began to walk ready to hit whatever was here we came to a stop when running came from the corridor we got in position steve was about to swing when he stop when he saw that it was Luca who was very much out of breath.

"What is wrong with you Sinclair!' Shouted steve as Lucas took a few deep breaths and began to explain what Jason had in planned we told him we had bigger problems than that, his started to go to Max.

"Look I get it, but I'm tired let's go sleep," I told them they agreed and we left the school half of us in my car and the other in Nancy's car we agreed to stay in Her place. It was safer for all of us to be together during this mess. And for me to keep an eye on max.

"You won't know if you don't try. NOW do IT!" Her voice began cold.

"But mommy I'm tired"

"Maricela wake up" I look up to see Dustin looking at me. "Hurry max wants to talk to us" I nodded and got up to meet them in the basement where Steve Lucas was seated, I join them and sat down. I saw Max looking at us. She gave a small smiled and handed us some letters she explained to us to read them later and not right now.

"Why do we need them?" I ask her, already not liking where this was going in.

"In case I don't make it" the letter became heavy in my hand.

"You're not dying Red, at least not in my watch," I told her, putting the letter in my pocket and bringing her into a hug.

She let out a sigh before we all made it back upstairs to see the girls all dressed up. I let out a snort at how ridiculous they looked earning me a glare from nancy.

"Looking lovely ladies," I told them as I pass them. I grabbed a banana from the kitchen then walked to my car and started it. Eating the banana.

Dustin was the first one in before he sat in the front steve was quick to tell him he was in the back. He was about to respond with some snarky shit if I'm guessing but Steve just told him something else causing him to shut up. Red and Lucas followed after. "Where to?' I ask.

"Trailor park I need to talk to my mom" I nodded and headed there. Surprising the ride there was quiet, when we made it I stop a few trailers down to give her some privacy. She got out and stood there for a moment before making her way to her mom who was hanging some clothes out.

"Mar, do you think something bad might happened to her?" asked Lucas. I let out a sigh.

"Lucas don't worry about it... she's going to be fine...she has to be" I whispered the lt part before freezing when the throbbing began in the back of my head.

I let go of the steering wheel and got off the car. Telling the others to give me a second. I speed walk to the trailer before meeting Red halfway threw. When I saw her I let out a sigh and hug her. "It happened didn't it?" her grip on me tightened and she nodded.

I kept her on my side as we made our way back to my car where the boys gave me a look, steve took one look at me and nodded. I threw him my keys as He told Lucas to move to the front with him. I ended up seating in the back with Red and Dustin. The two of them are on each side of me.

The drive to the cemetery was also quiet. All I felt was the Red grip on me.

The drive was around 10 minutes, when we got there I let go of her and she got out, when she was 15 feet away from us Lucas ran to her and they began to talk. "Ma did he come for her?" Ask Dustin I stayed quiet.

"No," I told him as I look out the window when Lucas came back with a defeated look on his face.

I took a look around to see I was still in the commentary, I stayed quiet as Steve and Dustin were talking about some things that I block out. My scar kept inching I pass a hand threw it. I could not remember how I had gotten that scar I had it when ma and dad found me in the forest.

I snap out of my trance when the throbbing came back, "How long has it been?" I ask making steve look at me.

"Around 15 minutes," he told me, my blood ran cold as the throbbing became worse. I jump off my car.

"Guys I don't like how long is taking" I ran to the graveyard. They followed close behind until I saw Red seated down.

"Max! Max!" No answer the familiar throbbing became worse and I knew it was happening. I ran to her and began to shake her. "Max wake up! Max!" No answer.

"Lucas get her Walkman! Now!" I shouted remembering our talk about our favorite music could perhaps help. He took off running. "Max please!" Without thinking my hands went to her head. The second my skin made contact with hers.

My mind went to this place it was faulty, cold, and dark. "Max! Max! Can you hear me!" I shouted. I looked around to see a house in pieces. "Max! Come on!" I shouted. Desperation was evident in my voice.

Not now! Soon!

I felt myself being thrown out of whatever that place was. I landed on my ass I looked around to see I was back in the cemetery.

"Maricela!" I look up to see Steve's wide eyes. I ignored it when I saw Max begin to levitate. When she was around 10 feet off the ground. I made the shadows grab her by her ankles bringing her down. We kept shouting at her. "No No No not again, you can't leave, you can't die" I shouted.

I jump my hands grabbing her ankle again I got a view of that creepy ass place. Except I saw Max running. "Max please!" I shouted. "Max come back."

I was back in the commentary I kept shouting so did the others. I could feel a blackout coming but I fought it, I had to be strong for her. I jump again my hand touching her ankle and again I was back in that place, "Let her go you son of a bitch" just like that I was back in the cemetery.

Before anything else happened her body dropped to the ground we all let out a gasp as she began talking. "I'm still here! I'm still here!" Lucas brought her in for a hug so did I. I felt myself crying as I touch her face making sure she was ok that she was trying here.
