Lis looks at Soor in disbelief, there was no sign of regret in her eyes. Enraged, Lis gets off the bed and slaps Soor.

"You are taking everything he did for you lightly aren't you? Well let me tell you; he has studied his butt off to get perfect grades so he would get more provision to feed both him and YOU! He has tried his best to protect YOU from bullies! And this room? YOU have it thanks to HIM! If it wasn't for him you would've been living in a apartment that is in poor condition, you wouldn't have ate as much as you can now, and you would've died because of the bullies!" Lis shouts.

Soor laughs and looks at her dead in the eye, "I would've been okay with the first 2 situations. And protect me from bullies? I almost died yesterday, so I didn't have a choice!"

Lis eyes widen. She's never seen her friend like this. Even back in childhood Soor was a gentle soul and wouldn't hurt a fly, which made her wonder why she changed all of the sudden.

"Lis, get out! If you wanna tell Max then tell him! I no longer have a care in the world," Soor kick Lis out of the dorm.

After Lis left Soor fell on the floor in tears, "Even if I didn't do this I can't rely on him forever..."

Soor hugs her knees as she cries on the floor.

Back to Max:

Before class was over Lis messaged Maxto skip class and go meet you on her dorm. At first, he was confused since we always meet on Soor's apartment but he agress anyways. After class, both Max and Trey went to see Lis. She looks angry, which made both of them wonder what happened. However, they didn't have to wait long as she tosses something at Max.

It was a positive pregnancy test, which made him turn pale, "This is...n-"

"It's Soor's," she confirmed what he had wanted to deny.

"Soor's? W- what do you mean?" his lips trembled as he spoke.

"She cheated on you, that's what," she replies.

Max's eyes go wide, and it was no different from Trey's reaction.

"WHAT!? How is that even possible!?" Trey asked.

"All I understood from what she said was that she did it for power. And it seems that she doesn't appreciate everything you did for her either," she says.

Max's grip on the pregnancy test tightens, all he saw was red. He bolted out of Lis's dorm to confront Soor about this. Trey followed behind fearing what he might do to her.

Soor's POV:

As I cried there was a knock on the door, I expected it to be Max, so I opened it to confront him. However, at the door there was someone I didn't know. And there was at least 10 people with him too. His hair was brown and so are his eyes. But his beautiful appearance reminded me of the man that I made love with. His beauty was just ungodly, she though that he looked prettier than the man she saw the day before. When he saw the tears in my eyes he immediately panicked.

"Are you okay? Did something happened?" he asks while he reaches out to me.

I didn't had the energy left in me to back away, so I stood still. The man wipes my tears with a gentle look on his face. It was as if he has known me forever, though I don't think I've ever met him before.

"Do you want a hug? You definitely look like you need one," he says.

"I- " I didn't knew what to say as my eyes widened.

What could this stranger possibly want from me? I couldn't help but wonder.

Third Person POV:

Back to Max:

As Max ran in the hallway where Soor's dorm is located, he saw quite a view that he did not expect. There was so many people in front of Soor's room, it was as if there was a murder scene of something big was happening in there. He went behind the many people and caught a glimpse of what was happening. He saw a man hugging Soor, which made his blood boil. But before he could do anything Trey stopped him, covered his mouth and dragged him away.

"I don't think it was a great idea to cause a scene, did you saw how many people where in front of Soor's dorm?" he tries to calm him down.

Although Max was enraged, he listens to his friend. He punches the wall in frustration as he rubs his temple.

"I didn't want to believe Lis when she told me that Soor cheated on me but, now I see that she was right..." Max sits on the floor feeling dejected.

Trey rubs his chin, feeling a little curious, "I don't understand why she would do that, and I'm quite curious to see what kind of person she cheated on you with."

Max looks at his friend in disbelief, "Are you serious? Is that what you can think right now?"

Trey backs away, afraid that Max might punch him in the face, "Woah, calm down."

Max rolls his eyes and looks away from him.

"That aside. Aren't you curious as well, Max?" Trey asks.

Max doesn't answer. Despite his anger, he's also curious to see what kind of person Soor's lover is. But he can't discard the fact that her lover seems to have lots of body guards, which probably means that Soor's lover must be an important person.

"Who's that guy?" Max mumbles.

"What did you say?" Trey asks.

"Nothing, nevermind," Max decides to let the situation go just so he can cool his head off.

Back to Soor:

Soor's POV:

I lean in to the person that's hugging me. He smells like spring, like a field that's wrapped with different kinds of flowers. He also has this oddly calming aura around him, somewhat making it difficult for me to reject him. He strokes my hair gently, which was a nice feeling. Out of nowhere he carries me in bridal style, which made me snap out of my trance.

"What am I doing!? Why am I allowing this man that I don't know touch me!?" I struggle in his arms, "Let go of me!"

"Woah, calm down. I'm not gonna hurt you or anything," he panics when I try to jump out of his arms.

The people that where with him closed the room to my apartment stayed outside. He placed me on the bed and put some distance between us.

"Sorry for not introducing myself before. My name is Asese," he smiles at me.

"Asese? Isn't that the name for the Legend that disappeared like a hundred years ago?" I eye him curiously.

There's very little information about Asese since he rarely appeared in public. And when the investigators ask the people who has seen him for information about him they only say "There's no need to ask how he is. His name says it all".

"Still, no one has seen him for so long, and there's no way "Asese" the legend would waste his time seeing a student that can't weild any magic."

Just when I was about to tell him to leave me alone, he opens his mouth, "I'm here to help you."

I raise an eyebrow, "Why would he want to help me? We just met. And help me from what?"

A single question turned to docens. I couldn't help but find the person in front of me suspicious.
