"Yoo joonghyuk over here!"
A voice called when he entered the library; the voice belonged to his lovely friend, Kim Dokja. Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja had made a pretty solid friendship over the course of at least 2 years, however people tend to think they hate each other passionately or Lee Jihye that thinks they'd make a pretty good couple.
"Joonghyuk-ah! Don't zone out just yet I still need help on this project." The reader pouted.
Yoo Joonghyuk went over to his side to see what he was doing—barely realizing he was breathing down the other's neck.
"Can you back up I can barely breathe, sir" Dokja asked to which the taller guy obeyed.
This continued for about 15 minutes until Joonghyuk spoke up
"Why don't you ask Han Sooyoung or something?" He said as he looked at the other in a mocking matter. Unfortunately, this had awakened something in Kim Dokja causing him to look away flushed. Yoo Joonghyuk just proceeded to look at the project as if he hadn't gotten centimeters away from touching foreheads with his shorter friend.
On the other hand.
Kim Dokja was trying to collect himself because what the FUCK just happened. There was no way he was finding his friend, little bit like a rival, slightly attractive. Nono this isn't happening— 'Kim Dokja get yourself together'
He thought to himself before looking back at the geography project in front of him only to realize it was already partially done.
"Huh-??" He was absolutely dumbfounded. I mean how could a person just finish a social studies project in a matter of seconds... that was just unreal. A dumb charm of his was how Dokja would've described it.
Yoo Joonghyuk got up from his seat as he was finished helping his friend and hurried Kim Dokja to grab his stuff as they were already done. —On these days they catch the same bus home as they are living in the same area just different apartment building.
Joonghyuk and Dokja walked out of school, it was when a sunset was cast upon the sky, no more than 5 o'clock but someone had a very busy schedule. The way to the train station was like any other day: two guys walking with one annoying the other or one scolding the other.
Because of these two idiots bickering on the way there they were barely able to catch their ride. Luckily for the both they found two spots for them to sit at, Kim Dokja took out his phone and started reading whatever he wasn't finished with. Yoo Joonghyuk was just staring at the window in front of him almost zoning out until 5 minutes in the bus ride he noticed a small weight on his shoulder. It was none other than the reader asleep on his shoulder with his phone still in hand.
This caused Joonghyuk to chuckle a bit, he couldn't help but feel a little proud that he was sleeping on his shoulder, reason was unknown but I digress. First thing that Joonghyuk did was take the phone out of his hands and place it in his backpack then he just relaxed his body and adjusted himself so that they'd both of be comfortable.
Odd
Really odd for him to do that...
It was odd for the reader to just fall asleep on his shoulder and it was even weirder for Yoo Joonghyuk to be so gentle about it. Who wouldn't expect that big scary guy to just push off the other but no.
Interesting.
The ride was peaceful for both , by which I mean that Yoo Joonghyuk was also going to start sleeping on the others head but he refrained because they'd probably miss their stop if he wasn't awake so instead of staring off into the window infront of him he took out his phone and started playing an adventure game just to be sure not to wake the other. Kim Dokja was in need very desperate need of sleep so this was bound to happen.
15 minutes later the two reached their stop
Yoo Joonghyuk shook Kim Dokja awake. Kim Dokja looked at his surroundings confusingly until reality hit him and he got off the seat. The other could tell that Kim Dokja was still a little sleepy so he took his arm and guided him out of bus.
"Joonghyuk-ah you don't have to.." the reader said
Yoo Joonghyuk still didn't let go. He was holding onto Kim Dokja's arm until they exited the train station, at that Dokja had already been a little more than awake that is why he decided to let go of him. They walked through all of the shops until they reached their neighborhood, or more like apartment complexes.
"Yoo Joonghyuk, can I stay with you tonight?" He asked out of the bloom
As shocked as he was Yoo Joonghyuk nodded, it wasn't uncommon for them to stay over at each other's house but staying the night? Guess there's always a first time
