Kozumi's P.O.V.-

... Wow, I can't even begin to tell you just how embarrassed I am. Three people have come up to Haruhi and me, and whenever I had to say something, all that I could do was stutter. I am so hopeless, god! Why am I so nervous? I have Haruhi right by my side, and now, she has to hold my hand as we walk to calm me down, and let me know that she is right there, and everything is ok.

I purse my lips as I think about what it will be like when we get to the classroom, and what they might think. I am wearing a slightly different uniform, seeing as the headmaster said that it was fine to either wear something comfortable, or the boys uniform. I am in a pair of black capris that reach just under my knees, and a grey t-shirt with a black skull on the front.

This has been my style for a while now. I just feel more comfortable in dark colors, even though it may seem weird in a place like this. Not that it wouldn't anyway, seeing as I have the height of a middle schooler, so I look really out of place either way. Seriously, I may be older, but I'm even shorter than Haruhi, and she's short.

As we walked into Classroom 1A, I looked around for a reasonable seat to sit at. It seemed that the only two available, were next to two ginger-haired twins, who were rather good-looking, not that I'd ever say that out loud though. The teacher turned to us with  smile.

"You must be the new scholarship students, pleased to meet you. My name is Tsunaki, Aiko, and I'll be your teacher for the rest of the year. You two may take the seat next to Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin. They can fill you in on what we are covering today." She said.

Me and Haruhi looked at eachother, then at the seat by the window.

"It's mine." I whispered, walking in front of her and to the seat before she could even move. She glared at me, at dragged herself to the seat 2 over, next to the other twin, and I smiled at her.

Realising that the twins, and the teacher watched that exchange with rather amused expressions, I blushed, and stared down at my lap.

Clearing her throat, Ms. Tsunaki got the attention of the class directed back to her as she spoke. "Good morning class, as you may have already noticed, we have two new faces joining us for the year. These are the new student, Haruhi and Kozumi Fujioka. Please, be kind towards them, and show respect." She looked pointedly at the Hitachiin twins, and a few others in the room.

"Now, shall we get started?"

"Haruhi, slow down, Ranka said that we didn't have to be home until seven!"

She ignored me, and continued to pull me along the deserted hallways, on the second floor. After we finished class, Haruhi came up with the idea that we should look for a quiet place to study, and so, here we are, looking for someplace other than the library, seeing as those were all filled with noisy gossipers.

"You know that we are a bit behind in the class, since we came a few weeks late! You also know how I respond to things like this, so why are you only complaining now? There's no-" She cut herself off, as we came to a silent room.

The sign on one of the doors said "Music Room 3".

"Hey, Haruhi, isn't this that abandoned room that people kept talking about?" I asked, wondering why it was such a big deal.

"Yeah... this seems fine, right?" She adjusted her glasses, and rolled up one of the sleeves on the oversized sweater that she was wearing before pulling open the doors.

As the door creeped open, a light shined through, nearly blinding me, and rose petals fluttered down, and got in my mouth.

"Welcome." I heard multiple people voice.

"What the?!" Haruhi helped pick some out of my hair, before we turned forwards, coming face to face with six faces.

The first people that stood out were the twins, who I recognized from class. The next face that i noticed was a boy, only slightly shorter than me, with blond hair, and big, beautiful brown eyes. I stared at him for a while, and he stared back, and the rest of the noise around me blurred for a second.

I was shot back to reality when I heard someone call Haruhi a boy, say my name, then ask Haruhi if she was gay. Then someone talked about us, with special information they could've only gotten off the internet or something.

We turned, and tried to leave, but then the boy I was staring at stopped us.

A blonde then point out different people, who he called, "types".

"Which would you prefer? We have the Cool type." The weird blonde motioned to a tall, black haired boy with glasses and a notebook. "The Mischievous type."He motioned to the twins. "The strong and silent type." A tall, blank-faced boy nodded. "The boy-lolita type." The small blond boy smiled at us, and waved. "Or would you prefer me, the Princely Type?" He finished as he tilted Haruhi's head up with his finger, and smiled.

Haruhi backed up, while I just kind of stood in one place, in front of the door.

"It's not like that. I just wanted to find somewhere to study with my sister, I-"

"Haruhi, watch out!" I spoke quickly, for the first time.

She stumbled into an expensive looking vase, knocking it down, and breaking into hundreds of different pieces.

I was shocked. What's the point of having a vase in the middle of a room anyway?

The boys gasped. Then the notebook boy, Kyo-something talked. "That vase worth eight million yen. We were going to use it for a special event. Actually, since you obviously have no way to pay it back, you and your sister will become our new errand-boys."

"But, I'm a girl!" I spoke, upset that everyone was just talking directly to Haruhi and ignoring me.

He ignored me, and the tall blond boy listed off names of everyone in the room, so we know what to call them.

"Haru-chan, Haru-chan, do you want to hold Usa-chan?" Honey came up to her, holding a pink bunny out. Cute. Wait...what?

"I'm sorry, I don't really like-"She paused, seeing the look on his face.

"Kawaii!" She said, smiling, and holding the bunny. Honey had a surprised look on his face, probably noticing how girly that was, but said nothing of it.

"You have to work for us everyday at the end of the day until your debt is repaid, with your sister's help, of course." Kyoya said, a sly-smirk on his face.

I groaned, "Damnit, Haruhi, why do you have to be so clumsy?!"
