Prologue

"Agni stop this foolishness! Your daughter needs you, your wife needs you-" Vulcan was cutoff in his pleading.

"-MY WIFE? She doesn't need me, she doesn't even love me, never has. She married me for the name and would rather me dead."

"But brother, what of your child? Little Ember. She cannot be left alone with her."

"You take her, I will drop her off and if I don't return to pick her up by the weeks end, run and hide. You take my daughter and little Blaise and run."

And run he did.

"And what of Natalie? She still bears our name, our legacy. She holds titles."

"She also did not read our marriage contract that states all Zabini heirs gain their titles and ownerships in their thirteenth year of age. She will remain lady Zabini, but only until Ember is 13. So you run and hide brother, and always remember I love you, and I love those 2 children. Which is why I must do this."

5 days after the conversation between the Zabini brothers, Agni Zabini was announced dead. Vulcan Zabini along with his son, and niece were declared missing, and would remain so for the next 11 years.
