Second to the 7th Prince

"Princess Delphina we've come to help prepare you for the Dinner with the Emperor!" shouts the servants.

"Will Denel be with us too?" young Delphina asks. 

Who would've thought that she loved her brother so much she never spoke about the neglect she feels from her family. The imperial family consists of the Emperor, the Empress, his two concubine's, and his 10 children. All of whom he loves and cherishes except for the 7th princess. 

"Yes, Princess but don't be discouraged we are sure you are both loved" says one of the maids with a pitiful smile.

"That's alright, I love my brother so much so I'm happy that we will both dine with father" smiles Delphina thinking about how exciting it might be with him there. 

"Yes, Princess you're so sweet and beautiful" all the maids smile and giggle adoring the princess.

Walking down the hall Delphina was feeling great the only people who saw her was the 7th prince and his best friend/knight in training. However because he is Duke Alexander's son and his father has been dragging him around for the sake about learning of the business he hasn't been around lately. Of course this worried Delphina they were closer than people thought but something began to change in him after being around his father. He started to ignore her and just be around the 7th prince. She was feeling a bit sad and overwhelmed as if she had done something that might have hurt him. Creating this emptiness inside she was losing her first love, her first friend and the first who actually saw her for her. Of course spending the first 11 years of living with her brother definitely helped her through many things. Luke was different Luke Alexander became such an important figure in her life that she completely forgot about how she was being ignored and neglected. Since now he was the one neglecting her and their friendship everything that she had imagined and lived suddenly felt like a lie. As if she was just living 8 years of a fantasy.

Hi this is the author unknown k. I know I have been MIA for quite sometime especially since I have many incomplete work but this book is something I had gained inspiration for... luckily to say that I will be updating my other books and possibly fixing some of my very old work. I have never been someone who couldn't take feedback or criticism so if you'd like to send me a private message or even just leave a comment about any of my work I would gladly accept it.
