Personality: Their personality express itself through a permanent grumpy state and easily dropped swears. Their general cold facade is not a proof of missing emotions, but their way to seem mature, even if they're incredibly goofy sometimes.
They are also the perfect model of a "tired mom friend". They constantly have to put back the gremlins they almost literally babysit on the right way. Koda gets incredibly stressed without news and ABSOLUTELY WILL knock on your window at 3am to make sure you're ok. This protective instinct doesn't mean they are immune to sarcasm.
Despite their realistic vision of life, they still have difficulty to focus, or at least at the good place. The point is, why work on boring homework when you can knit a cute, little, blue frog ?
Interests: Koda have a particular passion for knitting, but doesn't talk about his creations often about it because of people's general judgement. Though, they are comfortable to perform their art around their partners.
Dislikes: Summer is from far the best dream for them. They hate being too warm, which unfortunately happens often because of their long fur. In the same topic, cold is also their enemy, but in this case, my baby's too fluffy to be a stone-cold bitch, lmao.
History: Koda had a merely standard childhood ( I swear, this is not Megamind ) with Sam (Nelly), Sophia (Zari) and Lucas as their inseparable friends.
As their friends and them grew up, they still were close. Except that things were about to change. The group got a bit tense when 'Sam' started to look constantly exhausted and upset. No matter how much they insisted, the green fox always refused to explain, until months later when 'Sophia' took 'him' on a walk and they talked about this whole situation. 'Sam' explained that she felt like a female in a male body and was attracted to all genders and also that she felt uncomfortable towards it. 'Sophia' told her that she shouldn't be ashamed of herself and that she was also queer.
After, they went to Koda together and came out. The names Sam and Sophia were banned and replaced with Nelly and Zari respectively. Koda was particularly supportive and announced that they were also questioning their gender identity and sexual orientation.
Then, Nelly came out to Lucas, her boyfriend at the time, and everything changed. Lucas told Nelly that "she'll always be a boy no matter all the lies she would invent". Of course, they argued and broke up. Nelly got deeply hurt and it made Koda very upset. They definitely turned their back to Lucas and always acted agressive towards him since.
But Nelly's boyfriend had a superpower called being "even worse" and trash-talked about his ex. He told his classmates that "she was doing it only for attention" and other bullshits. It got against her and she got bullied by Lucas and his group if assholes. It got to the point where the two ex-lovers got into a pretty intense fight, which Nelly lost. Then on, she started cutting herself even if she knew it would bring her nothing and Koda , whom has now figured out their gender identity and orientation, began to be sticky.
The shitty "Lucas situation" kept going on, despite Koda and Zari's efforts. Once, they both got fed up and denunciated Lucas and his goons. These got severally punished for all the harm they have done. Nelly, depressed and not in her right mind, tried to kill herself a second time. Fortunately, Koda followed her and convinced her she shouldn't do it. They hold her in their arms tightly and then left the place together.
After this tragic event, Koda and Zari supported Nelly in the best way they could, even if they could never magically free her from her mental illness. However, she met many mental health specialists and got way better. Even if everything's far from being perfect, the three teenagers now live happily as a trouple.
