Nate's P.O.V
I texted my grandma(she's babysitting the kids) and told her I had a friend from school coming over.
I really want Avery to meet my siblings. I can tell that they would get along really well.
-After School-
I walk to the parking lot and go next to my Toyota truck and wait for Avery.
I see her walking down the stairs of the school looking in the parking lot.
I wave my hand and she smiles at me. As she walks over I see blood dripping down her leg.
Is she on her period...
Or did she just cut!?
"Avery.. Did you just hurt yourself?" She looks down at her leg and immediately grabs a tissue from her backpack. "no I haven't since last night.. shit" she cursed.
"Can we hurry and go to your house?" I just nodded opening the door for her and started the car.
Once we got to my house Avery had a bandaid on her thigh meaning that it was probably a scab.
"Avery these are my siblings Makayla, Adrian, Timmy and this is Trinity" Avery's mouth was gaped in awe.
"Hi" she waved "Are you a superhero? Because Nate says people with marks on them are battle wounds from the villains. I know what they look like because Nate has those marks" Adrian spilled out.
"Yeah I remember Tatia use to have them but now she's an angel!" Makayla of course mentioned Tatia my sister that committed suicide a few years ago.
"Who's Tatia?" Avery asked "She was my sister.." I whispered.
