Chapter Twenty-Eight (cry again)

Kadynce Pov.

Suddenly the wolf stopped in front of a large and dark palace, I went down and the wolf even bowed to me then two men approached us and they wrapped in a blanket when the wolf suddenly became human and there was not even a shroud.

"Where am I? Why am I here?" I asked but they only bowed to me once to pay their respects, their eyes were brown and they were also dark -skinned.

May lumabas na babae sa pintuan ng palasyo at sinenyasan ang tatlong kasama ko na umalis muna, napatigil ako nang makita ko ang buong mukha niya. Maputi ang balat niya at matangos ang ilong na halos hindi ako makapaniwala sa aking nakikita dahil kamukha niya ang aking tunay at ina.

"Kumusta Kadynce?" Tanong niya at ngumiti sa akin, hindi ko napigilang tumakbo palapit sa kanya at niyakap siya ng mahigpit saka ko rin naramdaman ang yakap niya pabalik.

"I'm Martha, the twin of your mother Maria." I broke away from the hug because of what she said. I thought she was alive and she was in front of me now.

"Sorry." I said and bowed but she just couldn't help but laugh softly. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko pagkatapos ay hinaplos ang mukha ko.

"Kung buhay lamang ang anak ko ay sigurado akong magiging magkaibigan kayo." Bigla niyang sambit saka nakita ko ang sakit, paghahangad at pait sa mga mata niya.

Mabilis na nagbago ang emosyon sa mukha niya tapos ngumiti ulit siya sa akin at hinila ako papasok ng palasyo, nakita kong may mga lobo sa loob na nakatingin sa akin pagpasok namin dahilan upang kabahan ako.

"Hindi ako puwedeng magtagal rito dahil sigurado akong hinahanap na ako ngayon." I spoke directly and I even saw the sadness in her eyes which made me avert my eyes.

"Can't you just be here for a few hours so that I can explain everything about your mother and I?" I looked at her then sat on the chair in front of her and she took a deep breath.

"Kambal ako ng ina mo, katulong lang kami sa palasyo ni Zues pero nagkahiwalay kami nung nakita ko yung mate ko na bisita ng hari tapos niyaya niya akong sumama hanggang sa maging asawa niya ako, isang araw nabalitaan ko na lang na namatay ang aking kapatid kasama ang pagkawala ng aking anak at pati na rin ang pagkawala ng kanyang anak." She looked outside and stared at the sky.

"Until now, I know my daughter is alive and one day we will meet again." She said and smiled at me, I don't know but I feel differently about my mother's sister because I feel so light for her inside of me and I also don't want to see the pain in her eyes.

"I'm sorry but what happend to your child?" I asked then I could hear the strong beating of her heart as many emotions were etched in her eyes as like she wanted to tell me the whole story.

"Kasabay ng panganganak ng iyong ina ang pagnganganak ko rin, hindi ko nakalimutan bago ko ipinikit ang aking mga mata at nakita kung paano kinuha ng babaeng nakatalukbong ang aking anak sa kanyang kuna." She said and one after another came out her tears, I approached and quickly hugged her then she clung tightly to my arm.

"But I'm still grateful because a man built my life and made me stronger, he's also the reason why I can speak English and Greek." She almost laughed and stood up then we heard the arrival of soldiers inside. I saw how surprised the man with the muscular body and still wearing a war clothes, he approached me and I was surprised when he quickly hugged me at the same time as Martha was giggler behind us.

"Akala mo rin ay anak mo? siya nga pala si Ladynce ang anak ni Maria." Humiwalay sa yakap ang lalaki saka humingi ng tawad sa akin dahil sa kanyang nagawa nang marinig ang sinabi ng asawa.

"Patawad, buong akala ko ay ikaw ang aming anak." Kahit ang boses niya ang malaki at matigas, tumango tangi na lamang ako at ngumiti. I don't know but I felt complete being with two of them.

We ate together and almost laughed while at the table as if it were a whole family. Martha is a soft hearted and very intelligent person so maybe Eadric will fall for his wife, Eadric who only knew about war before but turn to be that soft when it comes to Martha, I'm sure that they can raise their only child well when it is still here but I also found out that martha is also pregnant now for their second child.

"I'm sorry because my wife is just crying all the time here, you know the pregnant women." Her husband's joke made me laugh when I saw that Martha pouted at her husband.

"You making fun with me, old man?" I also saw that martha was annoyed with her husband so I couldn't help but smile because of what they did in front of me, Eadric pulled his wife's waist and approached her then kissed her ear.

"Masaya kami na makita ka." Sabi ni Eadric at tumingin sa kanyang asawa, Martha rolled her eyes then drink a cup of tea.

Hindi naman sila mukhang matanda lalo na at hindi tumatanda ang mga tulad nila maliban sa edad.

I was surprised when I  see a food table and martha put me on my plate, I looked at her in surprise. “I thought it was just mommy Vivan cooking it, I’ve been loving like this food since kid especially with the delicious smell.” I said and ate it but I stopped and looked up at the couple when I noticed they stopped.

I saw Martha look at her husband and almost wanted to say a lot but Eadric just calmed her down and kissed her forehead. I was just nervous because of what martha did because she seemed to cry again.
