Mason's POV:
I've been pretty fed up with my girlfriend y/n's pranks so I decided that it was time for payback.
The prank I'm gonna do on her is pretending to say another girls name while I'm 'sleeping'.
I invited y/n over abt 5 minutes ago so it'll take her about 10 minutes to get here. Once she's here, I'm gonna put on a movie and pretend to fall asleep and I'm gonna say a girls name in my 'sleep'. I need to think of a name tho. I'mma go with Melanie, I guess. (I thought of Melanie bc of the singer Melanie Martinez🤭)
I waited a little longer for y/n to get here and once I heard the doorbell, I ran downstairs to answer it. Brooke looked at me like I was crazy but I couldn't care less.
I opened the door
"Hi y/n!" -Mason
"Hi Darling" -y/n
I kissed her cheek before letting her in.
I grabbed her hand and started walking with her to my room
"So why'd u call me here?" -y/n
"No real reason, I mainly just wanted to see u" -Mason
"Mk" -y/n
I brought her to my room then we layed down on my bed and I put on "Good burger" (such a good movie 😪)
I had my head on y/n's chest while she ran her fingers through my hair. I started to close my eyes and pretended to fall asleep. After about 5 minutes into me fake sleeping, I took my head off y/n's chest and put it on a pillow while my back was facing her.
Y/n's POV:
After Mason fell asleep, I watched the movie for a little bit longer but then I just went on my phone. Mason moved away from me and faced the other way. I wasn't really paying attention to what Mason was mumbling in his sleep at first but then when it became more clear, I put my phone down and looked at him.
"Mmm.. Melanie.." -Mason said in his sleep
(Idk if that seemed real or not-😭)
'Bitch who the fuc-' I thought to myself. (I thought of that song 'lawsy hotel' that goes 'bitch who tf' 💀)
Who in the world is Melanie?
I started to shake Mason to wake him up.
"Mason" -y/n
"Mm? What melani-" he looked at me "what y/n?" -Mason
'Bitc-' I thought to myself
"Mason who's Melanie?" -y/n
He looked at me like if I was stupid "What are u talking about y/n?" -Mason
"U know what I'm talking about, Mason" -y/n
"I really don't" -Mason said while sitting up
"While u were sleeping, u said the name Melanie" -y/n
"Y/n, I don't know anything Melanie" -Mason
I just rolled my eyes and looked away from him
"Mhm" -y/n
"Mel- y/n I'm ser-" -Mason started but I cut him off
"What the fuck did u just call me?" -I said already annoyed and fed up
"I said y/n" -Mason
'Does he think I'm stupid' I thought
"I'm leaving. Ur an asshole Mason" -I told him while grabbing my phone and heading to the door but Mason got up and grabbed my wrist
"Y/n I'm joking! I was pranking u!" -Mason
I looked at him
"What?!" -y/n
"I was just getting payback" -Mason
"I hate u" -y/n
"I love u too, darling" -Mason said while kissing my forehead
"But u gotta understand, this means war Baby" -Mason
"U damn right. But trust me, You'll give in before I do" -y/n
"We'll see about that" -Mason said while smiling and leaning in to kiss me
"I love u" -Mason mumbled against my lips
"I love u too" -I said before kissing him back
I love him but I'll make him give in, I sure won't bc This means war
