Before we start, I wanna say that ik y/n and Mason have been going back and forth already on these pranks so like two of u asked me 'how do neither one of them realize that it's clearly a prank?' well to answer that question: if they noticed it was a prank, it would ruin the whole thing so I don't wanna ruin it by doing that.

Mason's POV:
4 weeks ago, my girlfriend Y/n pranked me by texting "he's leaving u can come over now" but today is my turn to get payback.
I'm gonna text Tristan and have him pretend to be a girl and when I'm in the shower, he's gonna text me "are u ready for tonight?" then I'mma have y/n read the text to me.
Knowing Tristan, he's probably gonna put a thousand emojis.

I invited y/n over and she agreed to come so after about 20 minutes, she showed up.
"Hi Darling" -I said as I gave her a peck on the lips.
"Hey, Mas" -y/n said while smiling
"So I have to take a shower but u can wait in my room, alright?" -Mason
"*nods* okay" -y/n
I brought her up to my room and I got the clothes I was gonna wear, then I went to the bathroom and got in the shower.
I left my phone out on my bed and before I got in the shower, I changed Tristans contact name to "Darling ❣️" and I texted him saying for him to text me "are u ready for tonight?" in abt 5 minutes.
I've been in the shower for around 7 minutes now and I heard my phone get a ding.
'Here we go. Hopefully I don't die'
"Hey y/n,can u read me the message I got!?" -Mason
"Yeah sure" -y/n
Y/n's POV:
Mason asked me to check the message he got on his phone so I grabbed his phone and looked at it. When I saw it, anger just filled my body.
"It was uhm it was just a notification from YouTube, Mason!" -y/n
"Oh okay, thanks!" -Mason
"Mhm" -I mumbled.
I put his phone down then just went on my phone and waited for Mason to come out the shower.
3rd Person POV:
After about 20 minutes, Mason got out the shower and he changed into a pair of sweatpants and a plain white shirt then he came out the bathroom.
U were sitting on his bed and when u heard the bathroom door open, u immediately stood up.
"Mason, quick question" -y/n
"Hm? What is it?" -Mason
"Who's 'Darling' on ur contacts?" -y/n
"What?" -Mason
"Don't 'wHaT' me, Mason. U know exactly what I'm talking about" -y/n
"Y/n I don't have anyone in my contacts labeled 'Darling' ,I don't even call anyone 'Darling' except u!" -Mason
"So why don't u check ur phone and look at ur most recent message, Mason" -y/n
"Fine, I will" -Mason
He grabbed his phone and looked at his messages but he changed Tristans contact back to what it was before and deleted the message Tristan sent. He did all of that in under 1 minute.
"See, there's nothing here, y/n." -Mason said while showing u his contacts.
"Mason I'm not that stupid, I know what I saw!" -y/n
"Y/n I promise, there's no one else that I rather be with" -He said while grabbing ur hands and holding them.
U just stared at him blankly for like 5 seconds then u hit him on the side of the head.
"Owww!" -Mason
"Be honest with me, Mason Thames!" -y/n
"Woah woah woah! I am being honest! I've never cheated on u and don't plan on doing so either" -Mason
Mason could tell u were pissed asf so he pulled u into a hug and rubbed ur back.
"I'm sorry.." -Mason
"Sorry? For what? I thought u just said u were being honest" -y/n
"Yeah I was being honest, but I'm sorry for making u freak out bc of this prank." -Mason
U looked at Mason and he had a smirk on his face.
"I hate u" -y/n
"I love u toooo" -Mason said while leaning in for a kiss.
U backed up and stepped on his foot on purpose.
"OW! Ur so abusive today!" -Mason
"And ur an idiot today!" -y/n
"Oh cmon u know u love me" -Mason
"In ur dreams" -y/n
Mason hugged u from behind and kissed ur cheek.
"By the way, it was Tristan who sent that message" -Mason
"I'm gonna kill Tristan" -y/n
"I would love to see that" -Mason
Then later that day, u abused Tristan : )
