I WAS PUTTING my last suitcase into my dark blue Lambo as I smiled down at my car after shutting the trunk, I ran my hands over it as I turned to see my two parents crying their eyes out.

I gave them a soft smile as I walked towards them, that caught my mom's attention as she turned to me sniffing quietly.

"oh my baby girl, I never thought this day would come"

She crokes out silently, I placed her hands in mine and gave them a tight squeeze before turning my gaze to dad.

A tear ran down his cheek as he quickly rubbed it away with his sleeve.

"you know Mariah.. you don't have to leave home so soon if you don't want to"

My dad wrapped his arms around me as I hugged him back gently before pulling away.

I sighed as I turned to look at my car, wrapping my arms over my body I slowly turned my gaze back to my parents, and my cousin who showed up out of nowhere.

"mom, dad, I'll be fine I promise! I'm just one phone call away, this is my dream! I can't.. I can't pull back now.."

I was now looking at my worn out sneakers which wasn't white anymore but now grey, I heard them shuffle around before my cousins voice came to my ear.

"gee never thought I'd say this but, I'm gonna actually miss u"

I looked up at Carlos as he sent me a grin, I smiled at him before punching his arm.

"and I can't believe I'm gonna say this, actually I can, I won't miss u one bit!"

I gave him a tight hug, he then lifted me up and spun me around while laughing loudly into my shoulder.

After a few seconds of that I was placed back onto the ground hearing my parents chuckles as I turned to them slowly, their intense stare had soften slowly.

"if this is what you want to do Mariah.. then I say go out and do it, you only live once and I think your doing one heck of a good job right now"

My dad said, well maybe yelled as he rubbed my shoulder as I turned to my stubborn mom who was looking everywhere but me.

"mom.. are you with dad?"

I said quietly, there was no answer.

"Julia answer your daughter, she wants to do this, let her go"

My dad whispered into her ear as her shoulders sunk down, I stepped forwards and gave her a gigantic hug before letting go.

I spun on my heels and open my door shutting it behind me, I rolled the windows down as I smiled back at my now sobbing family. (except Carlos of course)

I waved at my parents before turning to my cousin and starting the engine up

He was smirking at me before lifting his hand up giving me the middle finger, I laughed before speeding out of the driveway sticking my hand out of the window and giving it back to him.

It felt amazing having the wind through my hair as I was now free.
