Carl had been excited about this role for awhile now. His parents were skeptical of course, seeing as this wasn't going to be a normal kid role. Of course that only made Carl more excited, finally a role where we would be treated as an adult and not as a child.

Carl was very grateful for his roles, but he was sick and tried of playing immature kiddy roles. Everyone always told him he had potential, and now he was finally going to be able to show it off.

When he was told that he got the role he was over the moon. His parents were always bugging him about how he needed to be careful and really think about it before he chose a role. He obviously doesn't care enough to take that advice to heart.

When he seen audition open for Lolita he knew he had to do it. Carl had gotten in a fight with his mom about this role, she kept spouting nonsense about being careful of the older men, and the sexualization that he could be put through.

Carl didn't care about that at all. He had one goal, get famous. He wanted to be know by the whole world, hell, Carl yearned to be noticed on the street while walking to school. Some would call him an attention seeker, and to that he would say hell yes he was.

Who wouldn't want to be know for their amazing acting skills? Carl had always been outgoing and the 'popular kid' since he was in elementary school. Carl has always thought that loners were crazy, who would want to be stuck as an outcast?

So who cares if he was a little bit of an attention seeker, he was ready for this role. He didn't care what anybody said and besides, what bad really could come from an amazing acting opportunity?

Apparently a lot.
