<Rated M for brief mention of masturbation>

As they arrived in the kitchen, Chanyeol did his best to hide that he was wandering around the large room, torn as to what to do for Baekhyun.

Should he cook him something nice and quick for the, no doubt, starving guy... Or should he prepare a nice, hearty dinner for him that would really fill his empty stomach up nicely.

He stopped at the countertop and laid his hands on the edge, gripping it hard. Listening to Baekhyun's life story made him feel odd inside. On the one hand, he felt guilty as hell, and on the other, grateful. For several reasons.

He definitely felt, for the first time in his life, spoiled by his gigantic house, even though he was imprisoned within it. It was full of a huge collection of elegant clothing and an always regenerating supply of food and, worst of all, comfortable furniture, a warm cozy bed to sleep in every night with a thick duvet and piles of plush pillows.

In the other corner of his mind though, he was just happy to have Baekhyun in his house at all, no matter how he ended up in it. The company was welcome and the feeling of saving the guy and bringing an end to his unfortunate circumstances filled him with a warmth that he hadn't felt for years.

He spun on his heels to face his guest, now seated at the dining table. "So, what can I get for you, Baekhyun?" he finally spoke, his eyes ranging over the petite individual.

He no longer thought of him as a boy, as he first did when he saw him huddled against his front door. Obviously, he was just underfed and had had a rough go of it in his life, as well as probably having a naturally small frame. He was a man, not a boy. They were the exact same age after all. Both legal adults, although still relatively young...

A light bulb came on in Chanyeol's head and he knew exactly what to do for Baekhyun. He smiled inwardly to himself, joy flooding his senses.

"Honestly, anything is good for me. My stomach is used to being hungry, but maybe we can change that?" He giggled. "I'm just glad I found someone in this house in the first place! No offense, but it looks pretty fucking creepy! Especially all the way out here in the middle of nowhere. I wasn't expecting to find a living soul inside. Honestly, it looks like a haunted house." Baekhyun smiled and laughed.

Baekhyun had a surprisingly pleasant, cheerful, and trusting demeanor, especially in contrast to his life circumstances. It made Chanyeol feel his insides heat up again.

He opened the refrigerator and pulled out a few things. He slid a cup of yogurt and a small dish of mixed fruit onto the table in front of Baekhyun, along with a spoon.

"Here, munch on this while I cook you something more substantial."

"Thank you." Baekhyun smiled at Chanyeol, picking up the largest strawberry out of the fruit dish and taking a great big bite out of it, closing his eyes as he savored it. He giggled again when some of the juice slid down his chin, which he wiped away with the back of his shirt sleeve.

Chanyeol felt an odd heat spread throughout his body and a tingling sensation in the tips of his fingers as he watched. His mouth went dry and he had to clear his throat as best he could before returning the smile.

"You're welcome." He choked out quietly.

After that, he awkwardly turned and stuck his head into the well stocked pantry, as well as the refrigerator again, pulling out ingredients by the dozen while simultaneously pulling out a few bowls, pans, and other cookware, trying his best to not make it obvious what he was preparing.
