"Henry! Henry!"
Afton's excited voice could be heard throughout the office. Henry Emily, was at the office in that time, analyzing their recent creation sketched on a blue print. He saw his business partner and high school friend coming at him with a smile on his face. A smile that said he had found something interesting and ambitious.
"What other wonders have you found now, Will?"
"Our business blew up! It's all over the newspapers!!"
He dropped the newspaper he was holding over the blue print, pointing at the news about them with his index finger.
"Read."
Henry adjusted his glasses first, taking the newspaper in his hands. Reading the news about their pizzeria, their business. It was a whole page. A whole page about the business that flourished for them day after day and night after night.
It was blooming.
"It's amazing..."
Henry was genuinely surprised. He didn't expect it.. Looks like the sleepless nights paid off.
"I told you. We're going to be rich! We're going to make millions! We're going to be the biggest entertainment business for kids and adults with animatronics, Henry!"
"Heh, we will be. Both of us." He looked up at the man, who gave him a slightly anxious smile.
"Both, of course Hen. How about we celebrate this spectacular news? Hmm?"
"I don't say no." He had rolled up the newspaper, setting it aside. He had done the same with the blue print. "Would you honor us both with that favorite beer of yours that you keep bragging about?"
"You bet I do! I'm going to get it now."
Henry chuckled inwardly as he nodded, looking at the now empty table. He could hear Afton's happy laugh from the office.
------
William secretly looked at Henry. He didn't have an iota of hatred for him. He only had one, he was aware of why it was there.
Henry didn't look at Afton. He didn't want to and had no reason to. He just wanted to find Michael. And inside, he was afraid. A fear he didn't understand. It couldn't be because he was reunited with William... It was something else.
Afton was haunted by the thought that Henry was sitting next to him, but that he didn't hold a grudge.
Emily hated him for killing his daughter, but he also made Circus Baby serve Elizabeth like ice cream with too much raspberry syrup on. They were equality now. Afton was a serial killer though. One who seems to care about his family after all.
On one side of it.
"Did you actually meet Elizabeth and C.C?" William asked monotonously.
"Yes. I woke up with them at the door. Do you know the reason for Michael's running away?"
"How could I know?"
"William." He said his name heavy, stern, making Afton sigh in irritation.
"Maybe yes.. maybe not.. Let's just say Elizabeth still has a grudge on Michael."
"Why? He just sacrificed his life to release her trapped spirit. At your command. Obviously."
"Don't ask me that."
"But you have something with him too. Am I right?"
Afton went silent.
Emily frowned at him. William's silence answered his question.
