Nuea's POV
"P' tell him" Vince said.
He tapped my shoulder then he get inside the van. Uncle hugged me then they leave.
It is Vince vacation. He came to have a short ride and he wants to see remote areas. Their town is next to this. Town.
He likes wearing hoodies and fake eyeglasses. He says he feels cool on it.
And he even liked Toh.
"Darn that kid." I mouthed as I walk back to the camp.
Vince said bye to everyone. Before we went her to wait for our uncle. His mom my dad's brother.
That's how I am related to him.
And yes Toh thought he is my Van Gough. I give up I will tell him now who my Van Gough is.
I rushed back.
It is getting dark and I know we are to set for dinner. Stubborn Vince did not eat. He said how will have fast foods on the way and that would be an hour more.
Not that he does not like native foods. It's just he said he does not have share on the food is shy to add burden.
As if he can eat three whole meal or more. We engineers always have extras.
I am right food is set
I sit beside Toh. He just smiled at me.
Food is served to us.
Toh is silent
I am not used to this.
*Are you okay Toh?" I asked.
*I am fine na p'." He said
"How is Vince?" He asked.
"They left before I walked back." I said.
"Oh" he said and gave me water.
"Have a bit" he said.
I smiled at him. My caring Van Gough.
We are done eating.
"Toh try this" one of the sophomores said.
"What is this?" He asked.
"Fermented sticky rice" the sophomore said.
"Toh no!" Som shouted
Too late Toh ate it
Som run run to us.
"You prankrers!" Som get mad at them.
"It is sweet and" Toh said as he continued eating and have another.
But some swatted his hand
"Taste like alcohol." Toh said.
"P' Touch!" Daisy shouted.
Toh fall on my side I catched him.
"He can drink alcoholic drinks na but this is strong" Jao said.
"Damn these sophomores."p' Touch said and called all the sophomores.
"P' Nuea" Toh called.
"P' can you bring him in our room?" Daisy asked.
"We still need the documentation* Som said.
Jao took Toh's camera.
"P' Nuea please take him to our room na we have to work for him." Jao said.
"Okay' I said and carried him.
The stairs is a bit hustle but Fon and Kwan came to help me.
Then Sky came with. Basin of cold water.
"This will help" he said
I nod my head.
"We will leave him in your care na*Don said.
I nod at them
