Chapter 3 Ghosts

Ivan's pov

"Soo.. what do you wanna talk about?" I said, " Do you like ghosts?" Sal asked " Uhm" why would he ask about ghosts? "Yeah I think they're pretty cool," I said as Sal and I were talking, I heard footsteps outside my door I thought it was my mom coming home from work or the person next door coming in from his long walks "hey you good Ivan?" I heard sal ask me "yeah I'm fine I thought my mom was home early but it must have been my mind playing tricks on me" I replied to him still wondering if it really was my mind or if someone just walked past my apartment door "oh okay is it okay if invite ash and larry over" sal asked me "yeah that's cool just send them my way," I said trying to be funny earning a chuckle from sal " alright cool I'll call them now," sal said to me as he started to call larry. I went to my room to get changed and fix my hair, as I was fixing my shirt I heard someone call my name "sal is that you calling me?!" I yelled from my room to sal "no but larry and ash are almost here" he yelled back, that's odd who could have called my name then I'd better not worry about it I don't want to seem crazy I thought to myself about 3 minutes later I heard the doorbell ring " I'll get the door ivan" sal yelled to me as i was in the kitchen making food for me, sal, ash, larry, and any others that larry asked to come over "hey Ivan what are you doing" I heard larry's voice ask me "I'm making food so we can all eat" as I turned around I saw no one there but larry ash and a red headed boy come through the door 'is my mind playing tricks or did larry really ask me that question' "hay larry did you ask me a question just now" I asked larry "no dude i just walked in the door" Larry replied "oh maybe it's just my head anyways who's this'' I asked looking at the red headed boy " this is todd morrison he's our friend" ash said looking at todd "hey I'm todd it's nice to meet you" todd said shaking my hand " hey todd i'm Ivan and it's good to meet you as well" I said shaking back his hand. After 20 minutes I heard my phone ring when i picked it up I heard my mom on the other line "hey mom what's up" I said starting the conversation "hey baby boy I won't be home for a bit so if you could stay with a friend or have a few friends stay with you that would be great" I heard my mom say over the phone "Yeah that's okay mom I get it it's work they need you I'll be safe" I said to my mom. With that she hung up the phone "who was that dude" larry asked "oh it was my mom calling to say she won't be here for a week" I said getting up to go use the bathroom.

{20 minutes later}
Sal's Pov

Ivan should have been back by now I thought to myself "hey Sal what's wrong" I heard todd ask me, "nothing, Ivan should have been back by now" I said sounding concerned "hey it's okay your boyfriend will come back" ash said teasing me "He isn't my boyfriend" I shouted at ash blushing like crazy in truth I wish he was but I don't know if he is gay or likes me in that way I heard a door close behind the couch I looked over to see Ivan shirtless scars covering his body "what happened to you" I asked "Got hit by a car when I was 10 and got into a catfight a few weeks after recovering" Ivan said sitting next to me "oh d*n, you must really like being reckless" Said larry, "you could say that" said Ivan I looked at his arms to see gloves covering them as if he was hiding something.

Ivan's pov

I could feel Sal looking at my arms "i like gloves as all" I said to sal which made him stop looking at myarms "so don't be mad but i invited someone else" ash said, why would I be mad i thought to myself I then heard a knock on my door and when to open it everyone but ash was shocked to see the boy infront of me he wore a purple shirt a jeans with a cross necklace i thought maybe he cam to the wrong house but ash just said hi to the kid "hey travis" said ash I noticed the kid had blonde hair I didnt say anythind but it looked good on himI let him into the house and his eyes fell on sal i could tell they didn't like each other "so, you must be Ivan" travis started "I've heard your name a lot son i wanted to see if the roumors where true and i guess they are" travis said I looked over to Sal who was giving him the side eye that said touch him and you're dead, I could tell Sal had some issues with travis "whos hungry" larry asked trying to break the tension that had occurred between Sal and travis "I am" said todd and ash "okay i'll call in a pizza" I answered, I got up and went to the kitchen to order the pizza when i got back into the living room I saw travis and Sal arguing about something I ran to them trying to stop the fight "Hey, what the h*ll is goinng on" I shouted at both of them "He was making comments on your scars you have on your body" Sal said "I did not i just said he looks like he got damn near better

to death" Travis stated, with that larry punched Travis dead in the face, we all tried our best to calm down well I tried to calm them all down until I heard the doorbell ring, I went to go answer it and I saw it was the pizza guy I paid and took the pizza walking back into the living room.
