There was a long pause .

" No . "

" Liar . "

" Wait , you two know eachother ? " Aether states , looking between both [Name] and the Adeptus . [Name] nods , yawning . " I met 'em back when we stayed at the inn , " the person stated , turning with a smile and thumbs up to Aether . Xiao gave a questioning glance between the two , seemingly contemplating  . 

Aether protectively reached out to [Name], grabbing their hand . Aether glared at the Adeptus , before curtly stating " We are leaving for the Rite of descension. " Xiao nodded , before disappearing in a blackened mist . 

Finally turning back to [Name] , Aether let out somewhat of a long sigh . " I assume we shall be going now ? " [Name] curtly stated , seemingly harboring some sort of distaste for the individual . ' If I act like a b[censored] , maybe he will calm down a bit on the obsessive side , ' [Name]'s thought process continued , seemingly spacing out . Aether once again took notice , and tried to speak , before being cut off by a floating creature , named Paimon .

" Hey , [Name] doesn't look too good ! We should take them to Albedo ! " Paimon said , squeaky voice speaking out waves of nausea to [Name]'s ears . Aether seemingly panicked , quickly requesting [Name] to teleport them to Dragonspine . They reluctantly agreed , grabbing Aether and Paimon by the ear and teleporting . They were met by a worn down wooden bridge , broken in the middle . Turning to the other side , they noticed a few samachurls and hilichurls dancing around some sort of structure . Ignoring them , Aether once again requested [Name] to turn to a cat .

Turning into a cat , [Name] was hit with a wave of relief , cold waves of air no longer bothered them , as their thick fur seemed to resist the snowy weather . They were scooped into the male's arms and placed onto his shoulders , as he jumped over the cliff housing the broken bridge , and began gliding down . [Name] held on for dear life , finally reaching the lab .

A blonde haired male stood , seemingly marking something on a piece of paper while watching an experiment . The male turned , hearing footsteps of the similar-heighted male , and began to speak . " Ah , traveler . It is a pleasure to see you once again , " He spoke .

" We were wondering if you could help with something , " Aether said , turning to Albedo and seemingly making eye contact . [Name] seemed to get bored of being here , jumping off of Aether's shoulders and making their way over to Albedo . Rubbing against his leg , [Name] immediately noticed the warm temperature present on the male , rubbing onto the leg of the individual once again . Albedo leaned down , picking up [Name] . Aether seemed to notice , beginning to speak .

" We want to ask some questions , " Aether said , before walking up to Albedo . " Please show him your other form , [Name] . " Aether began , turning to look the cat dead in the eyes . 

...

" Ehe . . . No . " They spoke.

Oh wait , they spoke .
