For love (part 2)

*flashback*

"Its so boring in here... Can i leave?" Complained the brunet sitting on the couch.

"Well you wouldn't be so bored if you were doing your work" replied Ranpo sitting at his desk as he was eating some snacks.

"Your not working either right now so your not in position to tell me to..." said the brunet with an annoyed voice.

"Yeah but im not complaining you are, stop complaining now and go to work already. Im gonna go get somethingto eat" said the detective as he stood up and left.

"That beta... not like i would listen to you..." mumbled Dazai as he stood up and also left the office. He didnt know where he was going but he still walked straight ahead when he sudenly saw a familiar long blond hair. He reconized imediatly his coworker and decided to go annoye him a little but-

"Weird mister, can i get an ice cream ?"
Said a young child who was holding his hand.

"No there is no time for that, my planing is already ruined too much..." replied Kunikida looking at his notebook with a sigh.

"Your so mean i don't wanna go with you! Let me go!!" Yelled the boy as he tried to free his hand from the man's grip.

"Oi calme down kid will you? Wait- hey come back!" Shouted the blond man but too late, the kid runned away.

"Oh my, I had no idea you had a child~ " said Dazai with a teasing smile and Kunikida glared at him.

"Because i don't!" Replied the man.

"Then who's kid did you try to kidnap ?" Asked the brunet which made Kunikida even more annoyed.

"I did not! This kid got lost so i tryed to take him to the police station so his parents could be informed!!" He shouted and Dasai laughed.

"Well looks like he left so what will you do now?" Asked Dazai with a smirk. Kunikida looked at him then Dazai understood that he put himself into a situation he wouldn't like...

Now Dazai was walking around looking for the kid since Kunikida ordered him to do so and left to go work. He was pretty annoyed by this situation and just wanted to go home now, he could always say that he didn't found him after all so why would he lose his time on a random lost child. But looks like life was against him today cause as he was about to go home he saw the kid siting on a bench. He turned his back to him pretending that he didnt saw him and started to leave. Why would he care anyway it's not his kid so he shouldn't feel guilty, surely some other person will take him to the police station at some point... right?...

"Sigh ~... Gosh i should had stayed at the office after all..." he whispered and turned around.

"Hey kid! I don't have time to lose on you so be kind and follow me to the police station..." said Dazai as he stood in front of him with an annoyed expression.

"No one has time for me anyway... leave me alone stranger..." mumbled the kid as he looked away.

"Ugh- fine by me!..." replied Dazai and was about to leave again but he sudenly felt guilty for some reason. He cursed himself and sat next to the kid. The boy looked at him confused then looked in the other direction.

"What do you want from me?..." asked the child unhappy.

"Nothing but since you don't wanna come with me then i will have to stay here with you" replied Dazai as he looked in front of him at the river.

"It's not like you know me so you don't have too..." said the boy then the brunet looked at him from the corner of his eye.

"How did you get lost anyway ?" He asked ignoring what the child just said.
