SOMETHING ABOUT AOI'S proposal bothered me. I couldn't tell if he was really being sincere, or if just wanted to over throw the president and take over. Putting on a show so that people would support him.
Then again, maybe he was a good guy and I'm just being paranoid. Unless he was super manipulative. Time would only tell, I guess.
"This is all my fault! I messed everything up."
"No. You don't need to say sorry. And don't blame yourself for a scenario that we didn't prepare ourselves for. I thought of the stupid game and I didn't take this happening into account, or come up with a solution for if this were to happen." Mary says, digging her finger nails into her elbows.
"Mary. Don't blame yourself. We didn't think that a student council member would stop in here, a den that just opened. Plus, if it's anyones fault it's mine. He came to see me."
"Neither of you guys were playing, I was the one playing! I was too stupid to think of a solution."
"Now, now! Calm down. We all know that you're not stupid Tsuzura. Isn't placing blame just a waste of energy and time? We should be focusing on how to bring money into the den--"
"Don't be stupid! How are we gonna do that without a buy-in?" Tsuzura and Yukimi look like they're on the verge of a mental break down. Which just causes Mary to sigh "I'm going home now." and then she walks out.
"Estuko, is there anyway you can get money from your parents?"
"I'll see. I've asked and they've said no but I'll definitely ask again." I then walk out of the room and begin making my way down the hallway. My heart sinks when I see people crowded around the cork board. Mary also in the crowd.
"Shit. Donation day already?
"Hey. Do you know what this is?" I hear Mary ask someone.
"What? You can't read? It's announcing the due date for Student Council donations."
"Oh right. So..."
"if you don't pay up, you'll be a house pet. So, you'd better be careful."
It seems like I won't be able to ask my parents for money for the buy in for the den. I'll have to ask them for money to make a donation or else I'll be a house pet. Could we not catch a break? Rei and Tsuzura obviously aren't getting their house pet status removed anytime soon. Given we have no money.
It seems like I'll have to take Aoi's proposal. No matter if I want to or not.
