"Someone found us, Sherlock"
The sudden words that left William's mouth brought Sherlock into a temporary state of shock. Sherlock could feel his heart pulsate even quicker, not to mention he had only recently stopped running after chasing William and his tendencies.
Amongst other things, Sherlock's eyes widened. "What do you mean someone found us?" He asked, trying to clear his doubt that someone was following them. William looked Sherlock straight in the eyes as he pointed to the footprint that was plastered on the ground.
And never in a million years, Sherlock would've thought his carefulness would be so carelessly thrown away, now that someone or even a group of some sort had found him AND William, the Lord of Crime himself.
"Oh my goodness..." Sherlock said, surprisingly calmly, but inside of him, a blast of questions flooded his mind.
Who found us? How on did they find us?? Is this a one man job???
Is someone aware of William's living existence?
"So, what do we do, Sherlock?" William asked, breaking Sherlock's train of thought. Despite Sherlock's only recent encounter with his unanswered questionnaire and shock, a small smirk rose from the corner of his lips. "Like the old times, Aiden Evans".
—— Lisa and Leo POV ——
"You rascal! Look! They're now getting suspicious!" Lisa quietly scolded Leo. Both of them quietly "I didn't know I stepped on a puddle, okay! Calm down!" Leo replied to Lisa's comment. Suddenly, Leo felt intense pressure on his right ear lobe. "OW! WHAT THE HELL LISA!" Leo yelled.
"Lisa, I swear we aren't children anymore!" You can't just pinch my damn ear!" Leo angrily spoke to Lisa. Lisa gave Leo a playful glare, "Come on! We are best friends, aren't we?" she happily spoke, but Leo could see through that playful facade and experience haywire, it was so intimidating that he swore he could feel sweat falling on the side of his head.
"Well then, assuming that they will not be able to find us. Let's continue this investigation." Leo nodded at the woman. But who knows what's in store for them?
