May 5, year 845-Shiganshina district
Bong! Bong! Bong! The bell tolls three times, signaling the arrival of the scouts.
"There back! We can make it there if we hurry!" I say, grabbing my sister and brothers hands.
"They are?!" My brother Luke exclaims
"Oh joy.." my sister Beth says, her tone reeking of sarcasm.
I roll my eyes. "Oh lighten up" I say
"Are Eren and Mikasa gonna be there?" Luke asks eagerly
"I don't know, maybe"
We run to the center of town, near the gate where the scouts are already filing in.
"Someday I'm gonna be with those guys, adventuring outside the wall and slaying Titans!" I say
"Me too!" Luke replies
"Count me out" says Beth, a scowl on her face.
"Your such a dull person" I say to Beth, and Luke nods in agreement.
We climb onto some crates, to get a better view and let's just say we were not prepared for what we were about to see.
There was a great amount of scouts not there, and an even greater number injured badly. A Titan attack no doubt.

As we are walking back home, a pair of hands covers my eyes.
"Guess who" the all to familiar voice of my best friend and the person I've been in love with since I can remember
"Hmmm well it's definently not Luke, but I think I know exactly who that voice belongs too."
"Who?" He asks
"Eren Yeager, himself"
"Aww dammit, you got it!" He says, with a pout.
"I always do, let's face it at this point your never gonna get your kiss, which is really your loss" I say with a smirk. This game we play, if we can't figure out who it is, we gotta kiss them. The first time I almost gave up on purpose, but I want my first kiss to be special, not from a stupid game.
He looks at me, his blue eyes sparkling, and jutted his bottom lip out. Oh no. Not the puppy dog face.
"How bout' now?" He asks playfully
"Why would you want to kiss me, we're best friends?" I ask
"Because I like you." He says quietly
"Well I like you too" I say, poking his cheek
"No, not in that way, the other way" he stares into my eyes.
"Eren..... I-l like you in that way too.." I whisper.
"Huh?"
"I said I like you in that way too" I say
Eren smiles, and hugs me. He lets go of me, and hesitates a moment before speaking again.
"So... uh... since we both like eachother, how bout that kiss?" He asks
"No...I'm not sure I'm ready for that...but...how about we make a deal? At our 15th birthday party, I will kiss you.... sound good?" I ask
Eren hesitates a moment, then nods
"That actually sounds pretty good. Honestly, I don't think I'm ready to kiss you either" he says
"Shake on it then?" I ask, sticking out my hand. He grabs mine with his, and firmly shakes it, then we start laughing
