Training is gonna be a white knuckle ride through hell! If I've done my job, you'll be waking up in a cold sweat with memories of this place every night for the rest of your miserable lives! Right now your nothing, livestock but over the next three soul crushing years, you'll learn to take down your own Goliath! Remember this moment when you come face to face with him cause here's where you ask yourself: am I a fighter? Or am I feed? Am I gonna be ground to pulpy human grist between Boulder size incisers? Or am I gonna be the one to bite!"

Oh I'm a fighter alright and before I'm done with them, the Titans will grow to hate me!

Commandant Shadis walks around, calling on someone every so often. He stops infront a small blonde boy.

"Hey moptop!"

"Sir!"

"What do they call you, maggot?"

"Armin Arlert from Shiganshina, sir!"

"Wow, seriously why would your parents curse you with such a dumb name?"

"It was my grandfather, sir!"

"Cadet Arlert, why is a runt like you here?!"

"To help humanity overcome the Titans !"

"That is delightful to hear! Your gonna be a great light snack for them! Row three about face, runt!" He says and grabs Armins head and turns him around

The commandant is a hard man, cold and harsh.

He intimidates a few more people before stopping at me.

"You!" He says, pointing at me

"Yes sir!" I answer, doing the salute perfectly

"What's your name maggot!"

"Isabel Smith of Shiganshina, sir!"

"And why are you here, Cadet?!"

"To join the scout regiment and help humanity defeat the Titans, sir!"

"That's great to hear! You'll be a great snack for them!" He says, and gives me a harsh look before going on to his next victim.

"Hey cuebob! You're up next" he stops infront of a shorter boy, with a shaved head, and light brown eyes.

"Oh, me? Sir! Connie Springer from Ragako village sir!" He does the salute backwards.... a few seconds later, the commandant picks him up by just his head.

"You've got it backwards, Connie Springer, that was the first thing you were taught. The salute represents the resolve in your heart to fight those things on the systematic structure of our people, is your heart on your right side?!"

I hear a slight crunching sound to the left of them. I look, and there's a girl with long dark hair pulled up into a ponytail, her bangs almost in her eyes, eating what almost looks like a potato?

Commander Shadis looks up, behind Connie's head, and then drops him, anger flaring in his eyes. I guess he saw potato girl.

"Who the hell are you!" He snarls.

She doesn't answer.

"You are officially on my shit list! Just who the hell are you!" He yells, looking even more pissed off then before.

She swallows, then does the salute, potato in hand. "Sasha Braus sir! Dauper village wall Rose south district!"

He glares at her. "Sasha Braus....Whats that in your right hand?"
