Final Chapter: Epilogue

Brooklyn's pov.
So after that night and joining the band, I changed my last name to Evans, Tom and I are still growing strong ever since '85, we finally told the guys that Tom and I have been dating since last year in '86, and I finally have friends who actually appreciate me for who I am.

Band wise well we finally got discovered by The Jon Bon Jovi at the Empire, got signed with Mercury records, released our debut album 'Night Songs' in August of 1986, we toured with Bon Jovi for the Slippery When Wet tour, released our second studio album 'Long Cold Winter' in May of 1988.

August 12, 1989: Moscow Music Peace Festival Day 1
Today we are getting ready to perform in Moscow unknown to me that a special surprise was coming my way towards the end of our performance. We are about to go onstage, I give Tom a quick kiss and get ready to come out. Once we were announced as the next band to perform the beginning of 'Bad Seamstress Blues/Fallin' Apart At The Seams' started until we heard our queue to get on stage. I'm windowed between Tom and Eric but where all the amps are.

There is a guitar solo, which Tom wanted me to do it so he can rest his hands before the next song, so I stood there in front of the Stadium and played like my life depended on it but what I didn't see was that Eric came out with Tom behind him with a small box behind his back, got down on one knee, and the crowd started going crazy. I was about to finish the solo when I turn to my right and I see Tom down on one knee and I stopped playing and I'm about to burst into tears.

Tom: <Eric's standing next to him holding a microphone for Tom> Brooklyn, these past four years have been the best years in my life ever since you entered my life and I want you to be apart of my life for forever, so Brooklyn Evans will you marry me?
Brooklyn: <in tears she finally reveals her answer> Yes!!
Eric: SHE SAID YES!!! <the crowd, Jeff, and Fred go wild>
Tom: <stands up, slips the ring on her left ring finger, and kissed her> I love you Brooklyn.
Brooklyn: I love you too Tom.

We finally finished with our set and it was amazing, adrenaline still going through our veins, we celebrated our engagement with a bottle of champagne in the dressing room with the band. Later that night Tom and I spent our celebration with a night of passion.

6 Month Time Skip
These past six months have been crazy as hell with wedding planning and I found out last night I was about one month pregnant but, Tom doesn't know it yet so I'm going to surprise him at the reception.

Today is our wedding day, Tom is getting ready at Eric's place with Fred and Jeff while I get ready at our new two bedroom and two bathroom apartment with my bridesmaids and maid of honor Lori (Eric's wife), Marissa (Jeff's girlfriend), and Donna (Fred's girlfriend). We did our photo shoot in the morning, by 4:30 we were already at the church, five o'clock was the mass, I walked down the aisle by myself but I didn't care as long as I was marrying the love of my life I was happy. The Priest went with the ceremony until the vows part of the ceremony.

A/N: I used the vows from 'Shadowhunters' because it is my favorite.

Priest: I understand that you two wrote your own vows so I'll let you do that. Brooklyn if you'd like to go first.
Brooklyn: <takes a deep breath trying not to cry and looks at Tom> The love I have for you is a love that knows no bounds. In times of joy as well as sadness. In sickness and in health. I will love you as my equal and protect you above all else. I will share with you my truest feelings and when you speak. I will listen. I will catch you when you fall. And when you soar, I will help you reach your greatest heights. I am, and will always be, your loving wife.
Tom: Brooklyn, when I first met you, you were just a girl with a troubled past, I offered you a place to live and I felt a spark ignite inside me. You are not only an amazing guitarist but also an amazing woman, I am so proud to call you mine, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.

After we both said our vows, we said our 'I do's' and finally kissed. We took a limo to the reception hall where everyone else was already waiting for us to get there. Everything was amazing the decorations, the centerpieces, the food, basically everything. We had our first dance to our very own song 'Don't Know What You Got ('til it's gone)'. The best man and maid of honor did their speeches. Now it is my turn to make The announcement.

DJ: Alright so before we open up the dance floor, Mrs. Brooklyn Keifer has a few words to say.
Brooklyn: Thank you, alright so I just want to thank everyone for coming out tonight to celebrate our marriage and right now I have a very important announcement to make and that is from roll please... I'M PREGNANT!

Everyone cheered once I said that, Tom bursted into tears and everyone congratulated us. He came up to me and kissed me with so much passion.

9 Month Time Skip
Right now I'm in labor with our baby girl on the way and it was very painful for the both of us. I think I almost broke Tom's hand and I said pretty much every curse word you can think of until finally our baby girl was born into the world as Melissa Jane Keifer.

I may of screwed up history but I didn't care anymore because I finally have the man of my dreams and a family of my own.
