Hoping for more {DISCONTINUED-NEW REVAMP}

Chap. 1 : "You're dating?!"

It had been a long day for Nagito, but for the most part it had been alright. He had woken up from a weird dream about Hajime, but then in the dream Nagito had somehow gotten carrots stuck in his ears and had to get Fuyuhiko to pull them out with tweezers after Nagito could only get one carrot out of his ear. The Fuyuhiko in the dream was rather nice, actually... Not saying that the normal Fuyuhiko isn't nice but- anyway, when Nagito woke up from his dream he decided to take a walk around the islands and possibly talk to anyone he ran into.

Nagito would be lying, however, if he said he didn't want to talk to one person in particular...Hajime. Ever since they had all met each other after being trapped on the Island and previously forced to participate in a killing game, Nagito had immediately fallen in love with Hajime, something about him just completely drew Nagito in. Of course, Nagito hadn't been aware of his feelings at first, but as the killing game went on and eventually was reset, Nagito knew how he felt about Hajime, and he was so damn in love with the brunette.

When the killing game had basically been reset, everything went back to normal for the most part (besides from awkward moments between those who had previously been dead and those who had killed them), but everything seemed pretty safe. Monokuma and Monomi had also promised that no one would die again while on the Island, unless they died of what the bears considered 'natural causes'.

Either way, as Nagito made his way around the islands, he was enjoying himself. Even though in his past he had already observed, investigated, and knew a lot about all the islands, there could still be new stuff going on. Eventually, he ended up at Jabberwock park, and when he got there, he watched as he saw Hajime sitting on one of the benches talking to Sonia.

"They're sitting...really close...and what are they talking about?" Nagito mumbled out loud to himself. He really wanted to talk to Hajime, but the brunette seemed too busy with Sonia, so Nagito decided that interrupting them would be a bad idea, and he turned around to leave. But as he was walking away, he wasn't paying attention and literally walked into someone's shoulder, and damn it stung.

When Nagito looked up, he realized it was Gundham, "Oh, sorry, Gundham! I didn't see where I was looking and...ow, why is your shoulder so hard?" Nagito asked, rubbing his shoulder, cause it really did hurt.

"My Foolish Friend, my shoulders must be as sturdy as can be for my Dark Devas to perch on, they deserve only the best." Gundham explained. Conveniently, when he said that, two of his hamster-sorry, Devas, crawled out of Gundham's scarf and onto his shoulder. Cham-P and Sun-D. It seemed even after everything that had happened in the killing game, no one had changed that much, which was at least a bit reassuring to know that everyone was still themselves.

Even if some people were...a bit extra with everything they did, I mean, Gundham had just been waving his hands around when he was talking so, yeah, normal behavior.

Nagito wasn't focused on that, though, because after Gundham had stopped talking, Nagito had realized that Gundham wasn't alone on his walk.

Standing next to him had been Kazuichi, Nagito just figured he hadn't seen him since he was too caught up in his pained shoulder-to-shoulder contact with Gundham. Wait, why were Kazuichi and Gundham walking together? The white haired boy decided to question it, "Kazuichi, you're here too! Wait, why are you too walking with each other? I didn't know you guys were that close?" Nagito asked, but was surprised when Kazuichi's face had turned red, and he started stumbling over his words.

He deemed it as Kazuichi being flustered as the Mechanic tried to get out an answer properly to what Nagito thought was a pretty easy question, but apparently not. So, Gundham put a hand on Kazuichi's shoulder and spoke for him, "Kazuichi and I are going to meet up with Miss Sonia in Jabberwock Park for a panic between the three of us. It seems you were just coming from there actually, did you happen to see Miss Sonia on the way?" Gundham asked at the end of the conversation, and Nagito understood what he had seen. But before he could say anything, he heard a voice call out from behind him and turned around.

"Kazuichi, Gundham? I'm over here!" Sonia had called out to the two boys Nagito had been talking to as she walked over. Both of them had their attention turned to Sonia, but Nagito was more focused on the other person who had gotten off the bench and walked by the 4 of them, not even sparing a look at Nagito, the person (as you probably guessed), was Hajime.

However, Nagito didn't get to follow him right away, because he heard Sonia say his name and he turned back to her as she asked, "Nagito? What are you doing here?" She asked.

"A-Ah, well, I was just out on a walk and bumped into Gundham and talked to him and Kazuichi for a few minutes. Gundham said you guys were having a picnic?"

"Y-yeah we are! We're having it t-to celebrate us...becoming a couple..." Kazuichi joined in the conversation nervously, and what he said left Nagito with a bit of surprise, before he smiled and said something to all 3 of them.

"Well, I'm happy for you all! Hope you enjoy your picnic, but I've got to get going, see you around!" Nagito said as he left and waved back at them. The 3 were saying their thank-yous for what Nagito had said, and wished him well.

Nagito quickly went on a search for Hajime, but he was once again interrupted as he saw Chiaki and decided to talk to her. "Oh, hey, Chiaki. Watcha doing out here? It's almost sunset." Nagito asked her, she met his eyes and replied in her usual tired voice.

"I'm looking for Hajime, we were supposed to meet at my place for a game night, but I haven't been able to find him. Have you seen him, Nagito?" Chiaki asked.

Nagito nodded and said, "Yeah, I just saw him actually, he was talking to Sonia, but he left before I could say anything to him."

"Hm...alright, he might be on his way to the cottages soon, then. Do you want to join us for the game night?" Chiaki pitched the ball, and Nagito hesitated before the swing.

"Are you sure? I mean, I wouldn't want to interrupt your guys's alone time or any-"

"You can come if you want to, Nagito. Besides, it gets kind of boring playing against the same person every time. You should come, or at least think about it...maybe..." Chiaki said, and then walked off towards the direction of the cottages. Another ball.

"Ah! Chiaki, wait up! I'll- I can come along." Swing. Nagito caught up with Chiaki, and they both arrived at the letter's cottage to see Hajime standing there waiting for, well, Chiaki. But he didn't seem bothered by the fact that Nagito was there too. That was good, maybe him and Hajime would actually have a good time tonight.

Maybe...
