Burning Red like Roses

Prologue: The beginning of the end

It was late in the afternoon when the lumbering man awoke he was lying in bed next to his wife Jack-O. He got out out of bed and went to his workshop where his passion project sat the same one that saved the world. He looked over the weapon and examined it closely it was damaged after the final confrontation after all it used a lot of energy. While he was deep in thought his wife Jack-O came up from behind him and turn on the light in the workshop. The light was blinding as the man turned to look at his wife.

???: "You could warn me next time your gonna do that"

Jack-O: "I wouldn't do it if you stopped coming in here just to stare at that thing"

???: "I just saved the world I can do what I want!"

Though he snapped back at his wife she did have a point its not like he was going to repair it it had served its purpose.

???: "I'm sorry Jack-O"

Jack-O: "It's alright Sol"

Though she said it was okay Sol knew deep down that he was wrong for yelling at her. He was still holding on to a lot of stress after the events of yesterday. It had seemed like the beginning of the end but thanks to Ky and Axl and Nagoriyuki and even his wife Jack-O they put a stop to I-no's plans. He would worry about her partner Happy Chaos but he had disappeared before the smoke cleared. He took a look back at the weapon on the table and let out a long sigh before turning around and walking out the workshop. 

He walked to the kitchen where he saw his wife Jack-O preparing breakfast though at this time it would be considered more of a late lunch. He walked up to her but said nothing as he passed they understood each other well and they both understood each other's feelings. Sol simply took a plate and sat at the table. He opened a newspaper where he saw the obnoxious smile of his former rival Ky. He had no interest in showing up in the papers or on tv it annoyed him more than anything. As he was reading the paper an amethyst portal seemed to open up underneath him and before he could react he fell out of his chair and into the portal but not before grabbing onto one of the edges of the portal.

Sol: "Jack-O help!"

Jack-O rushed over to help but was too late as Sol lost his grip and fell into the depths of the portal. It felt he was falling forever and ever until he crashed down on the grassy ground knocked out instantly by the force of the fall.
