It's Just High School : Book 1

1st DAY.... !!!

** Next Morning **

Aaliyah's POV :

** beep , beep , beep ** my alarm went off indicating it was time to wake up. I hit the ' stop ' on my phone so my alarm would go off. Todays the day , it's finally here, my first day of high school I couldn't tell if I was nervous or excited, really both. I sat up in bed and stretched letting out a loud yawn. I grabbed my phone making sure it was fully charged for the long day ahead of us.

Daijah : Wake up bitchesssssss ! We Freshman now ! ayeeeeee . Where should we meet at ?

Simone: loll girl you are turnt so early , we can meet in the courtyard , Liyah how you getting to school ? want me to come scoop

Daijah : right girl ! how are you getting to school !? courtyard it isss

Simone : Liyah girl ! wake Up !

Daijah : you know Liyah need her beauty sleep lol

Me : im up im up lol , geesh ! and thanks girl but ma dropping me off , i cant wait for my birthday next month so i can have a whip to school  🙄 , meet you guys at the courtyard

I laughed to my self at how turnt they were this early. I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to start getting ready for school

" Li you up ?!" my mom yelled outside of my room door

" yes ma'am !" I said while walking to the bathroom

Geesh did everyone really think I would not be up on time today lol. Once I got into the bathroom i started to brush my teeth , after that i went on to do a light skin care routine making sure to put on extra spf today. I contemplated if i wanted to do my make up today . now that i am in high school ma said i can wear a little make up as long as its natural. I decided to do a matte foundation , a little blush highlight and some mascara.

"that'll do it"  I thought to myself.   I walked over to my ottoman and grabbed my clothes I picked out the night before. I put on my skinny blue jeans that fit me nicely and carefully put on my white shirt making sure to not get any make up on it.  After that i put on my footsie socks and decided on my white gucci shoes. I then walked to the mirror to check my fit and felt too tooo plain. I didnt want to go all out but I needed some more sass . I went to my closet and pulled out my gucci blazer with the navy strip and the cross body purse to match. " Perfect". Now that I was pleased with my outfit I went to my vanity and turned on the flat iron so it can get hot. While it was heating up i grabbed my lip gloss and put 2 coats on and then put it in my purse. I grabbed my Marc Jacobs perfume and sprayed on a few pumps and put that in my purse as well. Now that the flat iron was hot i ran it through my hair a few times just to make sure it was bone straight how Brittany had it yesterday. I grabbed my charger placing it in my purse and grabbed my book bag. I took one last look at myself in my body mirror then headed out the door to go downstairs.

"Awe look at my baby , all grown uppppp " my mom said admiring me

" You look so pretty baby girl , you ready ?" she continued

" thank you ma ,  and yes i am ready to go" i giggled

" alright lets get this show on the road " my mom said while we were walking out the door

We got into the car and headed towards Fulton Oaks. I sent a quick text to the girls letting them know i was on the way. It took about 30 minutes to get to school with the new school traffic. but before i knew it we were pulling up. I got out the car , gave my mom a kiss on the cheek and headed towards the building. I was overwhelmed with all the kids i seen and how grown these girls and boys looked. I made my way through the entrance and headed to the courtyard. I seen Daijah's Fire red head and headed towards that direction.
