No ones pov - 2:56 pm - at home
"Robin can I stay over at a friend's house tonight?" Manny asked Robin as soon as he got home
"Who is it exactly?" Robin asked
"His name is Axel I made friends with him during lunch. He invited me over and offered to pick me up from the house" Manny replied still waiting for Robin to answer his question
"I don't know.."
"Please"
"What did your father say?"
"To ask you 👁️👄👁️"
"I suppose you can go"
"YES! Thank you papa!" Manny said as he went upstairs to his room to pack for the night of staying over.
Manny waited the rest of the entire day for Axel after remembering he would be picked up at night
- 6:53 pm -
[Doorbell Ring]
Manny immediately sprang up knowing it was Axel
Robin answered the door to see Axel
"Oh you must be Manny's friend" Robin said while glaring at Axel.
"Uhm yeah that's me. I came to pick him up" Axel said slightly nervous of robins glaring
They stayed there for a minute before Manny came from behind Robin
"Hey Axel! I'm ready!" Manny said with a joyful smile
Axel shifted his attention towards Manny
Robin still glared at Axel
"All right then... I'll let you boys go now" Robin said as he walked away from the door.
Manny looked back into the house and yelled out
"Bye dad, Bye papa!"
He walked out the door and closed it behind him.
"Cmon let's go!" Manny said as they walked over towards Axel's parents car.
"Um by the way, my driver isn't the best of people I'd say so whatever he does he doesn't really mean it okay? It also kind of goes the same for my father" Axel said before they entered the car
"Okay!" Manny said in reply
They entered the back seat of the car
Without even an introduction or nothing the driver just started going to the destination.
Once they arrived
Axel brought him into his room
"You can put your stuff here" Axel said as he pointed to a spot.
"I just realized, we're will I be sleeping?" Manny asked
Axel was stunned with realization that there was only one bed.
"I- uhm- well I'm not quite sure, we may have to sleep in the same bed together" Axel said while trying to think of a different way
"Okay that's fine!" Manny said.
He didn't realize that maybe Axel was a bit embarrassed or possibly nervous to think of the idea.
"Well- I guess that settles it" Axel said still kind of nervous
"You said you wanted to show me something right?" Manny asked
"Oh yes cmon follow me" Axel said while they both walked out the room together
They were outside. it was a beautiful night and Axel took Manny to the top of a hill. It had a tree on the top we're Axel would regularly sit by himself.
It made him happy he got to bring someone along with him for once
Manny was quite scared because the hill seemed kind of steep and he wasn't usually out at night. He was kind of scared of the dark.
While they were about to go up the hill Axel noticed Manny kind of avoiding it a bit
"Manny? Are you okay?" Axel asked
"I'm just a bit afraid of the dark"
"It's okay Manny, I'll be right next to you the entire time" Axel reached his hand out gesturing Manny to take it.
For a minute Manny felt something, something new but he didn't know what. He held Axel's hand which only made the feeling grow. They both walked up the hill together.
Once they got to the top they both sat by the tree leaning their backs on it while still holding each others hands.
"Wow it really is a perfect view from up here." Manny said in amazement
"Yeah, I like to come up here a lot."
Axel said in reply
Manny continued to look at the stars and the moon
Although Axel had seen it all before he still found it to be much a sight but while Manny looked at all the stars Axel looked at Manny glistening eyes.
When Manny looked back Axel quickly stopped looking and continued to look at the stars.
They stayed up there for what felt like forever but was only about an hour
They held each others hand the entire time.
When they went back down the hill they both agreed it was about time for bed.
Just then Axel remembered there was only one bed. He still felt a little nervous as to the situation.
Manny didn't really feel anything about it but as soon as he started getting that weird feeling at the beginning of the hill he also felt a little nervous, but they both acted like it was fine
Once they were both ready for bed. Axel had gotten in first then Manny did a few moments afterwards.
Axel was still very nervous and couldn't seem to get to sleep but Manny fell asleep almost right away.
With that Manny had reach over to Axel's waist as hugged him while he was sleeping.
Axel just stayed there silent with a red face.
Axel's pov
After a few minutes i didn't really mind it anymore and thought it was kinda cute.. wait! No I shouldn't think that! We're just friends right?
But he seems so comfortable. I'm not too uncomfortable either Ill just fall asleep like this.
