This sucks.

Looking out the window; thinking to myself how will I ever be with y/n. My father recommended all the vamps here at the vampire council to go back to our home and do long-term education at the vampire academy. I really enjoyed my 5+ years here in the Main Town and being with y/n has changed my life but I guess that will have to go downhill. "Jenson!" My father yelled while coming into the meeting room. "What are you doing up here all alone in the meeting room" My father said while placing his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him with a sad face and said "Dad, I'm just looking at the town one last time before we go back home for the first time since I left middle school." He looked out the window and said "Yeah son, you will have to admire the town before we leave because once we leave, we can't come back forever." I had to process what my father said for awhile before looking back at him. "Dad, I'm going to miss this town especially y/n, I mean we just got back together after all the chaos that happened a month ago with Lincoln; it's just too much and I hope she will know that I love her so much" I said. My father always had faith in me and y/n's relationship even though it was on and off but he sees y/n as a clever and independent person and he knows she will break down. "Jen, I know you love y/n but we have to go back home. I mean living in a town where they are humans around is dangerous. In those 5+ years of living here, some humans we seen has say awful things to us and call us crazy and evil creatures which we are not so going back home where all our family, friends, and other vampires live, is safe for us" my father said directly. I guess my dad is right, I have to go back even though I really don't want to but I don't have a choice. "I guess you're right dad, I mean I really do miss mom and my brothers but they are long gone now. At least, I get to see my old friends" I said while looking out the window. My father looked at me proud. "Your mother was an amazing person son, she always been there for you and your brothers. She always had a solution to every problem that was made, she was the woman I adore so much" my father said while hugging me from the side. I smiled at him and laughed. "Enough with all the talking, we gotta go. It's time to head back home" my father said while heading towards the door. I quickly looked back and said " Dad wait!". He looked at him shocked and said "what is it son?" I looked out the window then looked back at him. "Can I just have a few minutes to text y/n? I mean since I can't see her, I really want to tell her that I'm leaving for good" I said while pulling my phone out my pocket. My father chuckled and said "Sure son, you only have a few minutes though because we need to get there before it gets dark." I smiled and said "Thanks Dad, I'll be down there in a few." My father looked at him with a big smile and headed towards the door. He looked back at me while holding the door knob and close the door. I quickly went to my messages to text y/n. ~ to be continued
