I started walking down the sidewalk looking for my father and grandfather.
It took me a minute to find them because I was too busy talking with my friends that I lost sight of them. After 5 minutes of looking, I finally found them by a bagel shop on Saint Street by my old childhood home. "Hey Jen, where were you? We've been waiting for you" my father said. I looked at him and said "I was up the street talking with my bros, you know nothing bad." My father looked at my grandfather with a big smile and looked back at me. "Oh okay well do you want to grab some to eat on the way home because we have to go to that academy early tomorrow morning at 7, that's when classes start" my grandfather asked. I was a little hungry because it's been hours since my last snack. "Yeah sure, I guess I'll get a bagel" I replied.

Me, my father, and my grandfather all entered the bagel shop and ordered us a bagel because us vampires can eat regular food too. We sat down at a table near the entrance and waited. They were other vampires and fledglings in there with us as well but not as many. Within the past 10 minutes of waiting, I texted y/n. We were talking about all the amazing things we did when I was with her and she made me laugh a couple of times. For a few minutes, I looked around the shop and I stopped someone staring at me. It was three people, an middle-aged woman and two teenage boys my age. The woman looked like my mother for a second so I got up and when over to see. "M-Mother?" I stuttered. She got up and said "Jenson?" I knew it was my mother and my two brothers. I gave them all big hug and cried. My father and grandfather looked my way and came towards me. "Look Dad, it's mom and my brothers" I said with tears in my eyes. My father went up to my mom and placed his hands on her face and said "Yvonne, baby is that really you?" She grabbed his hands and said "Yes Jaden, it's really me." My father kissed her and gave her a big hug. My grandfather also hugged my brothers with power. "How are you guys here rn, we all thought you died years ago" my grandfather said. They all looked at each other and said "We didn't actually die, we were just away on a vacation and came back because we heard of the new vampire academy and we wanted to apply there." Wow all this time I thought half of my family was gone but they're all here now. "No way, we just came back from the Main Town to apply at the vampire academy too" I said happily. They all had a big smile on their faces. "Jen buddy it is great to see you again, me and jenix really miss you man" my older brother said. I placed my hand on his shoulder and said "It's really great seeing you too. Now we can hangout everyday now." Me and my brothers cheered in happiness. After talking with everyone for a minute, the waiter gave us our bagels. "Alright here are your bagels and you all have a fang-tastic night" the waiter said. We all thanked the waiter and left the bagel shop. We all started walking home and enjoying our delicious bagel while laughing in the night. ~ to be continued
