On November 2nd, a family moved in the newly vacant house across from me. Staring from my window, I watch the family shuffle out of the car, grabbing boxes, and luring them inside. From what I saw, there was a mom and a dad, a little girl with curly blond hair tied up in ponytails, and a boy who I presumed is her twin brother with his golden hair. The girl and the boy were skipping around the house, curiosity evident in their eyes. Their mother called them to the moving truck and had them help her with tiny boxes.
I figure I should finish my homework, so taking my focus from the family I work on my Calculus homework. As I was scribbling numbers down, my eyes float back to the open window in front of me.
"Hunter!" I hear the dad faintly say. I was guessing that Hunter is the blonde little boy, but I am mistaken. Another boy stepped out of the car, his headphones locked in his ears. His ink black hair was covered with a grey beanie. He had a lean figure that was covered in the same color as his hair. I watch in mystery, he strides towards the father and aided him with the boxes.
He is an outcast from his family, with golden curly hair, and his jet black like the night.
He turns to scan the neighborhood, and his eyes lock on my home and I swear he is looking at me. He must have seen me staring.
Quickly, I shut the blinds, embarrassment flooding my veins.
