TEN- Nightmare End

A/N- This chapter is now after Griffin, Billy, Bruce and Robin go missing. In this book, that is only going to be 2 months.

The time was going by quicker now. It has been a long time since Vance went missing, and I miss him everyday. Some days I just cry. And cry. I try to be tough and most days I am.
I've been getting picked on a lot more now. Vance gone was a main target for pain that bullies inflicted on me if they didn't just punch me. I do fight back though but it's the words that really hurt.
And since he went missing the numbers of missing kids has only stacked.
It's been 2 months since Vance went missing and I would sell my soul to find him.
He'll be back though. He will. And everything will go back to normal.

Robin was abducted 2 days ago. I miss him so much too. The only people I talk to willingly now are Finney and Gwen, and sometimes Donna.

The bell goes.

"Alright it's Friday so I'm going to Susie's so-"
"I'll watch Dad." Finney says.
Gwenny splits from me and Finney. "Okay I'm gonna go to the corner store, bye Finney!" I say. "Bye Y/N!"

It's dark out and I'm sitting on my bed. Listening to music.

4 knocks on my door.
"Coming!"

I open the door to Finneys dad. "Uh y/n? Have you happened to see Finney?" He asks quietly.
My heart drops to what feels like my feet.
I can't lose a third.

"Not since school." I say my voice breaking.
His dad grabs his face and his eyes start to water. "That's what Gwenny said." He mumbles and walks off.

I sit down and start to bawl in the corner. First Vance, then Robin and now Finney??!
"Jesus, what the fuck?!" I scream. Apparently waking my Dad up.

>>>> (a couple days later)

5 quick knocks on my door.
"Hello y/n!!" Gwenny yells through the door.
"Hey hey what's up??"
"I know where Finney is!"

I can only hope that's where Vance is too.

We bike through the rain and thunder.
"There it is!" She points at a house. A crash of lightning comes down and she screams and crashes her bike.
I get off my bike. "Gwenny are you okay?!" I ask worried. "Yeah but did you see that?"
See what? I shake my head.

"It was all the boys that were taken except for Vance and Finney. They all looked.. dead." She says.
"What? Was Robin with them?"
"Front and Center" She says a little traumatized from what she just saw.
"Vance and Finney weren't there?" I ask. She shakes her head.

We quickly get back on our bikes and wait for the cops to show.

The cops are searching the house and me and Gwen are sitting by the fence. I look up to see Finney opening the door to the house in front of us. I slap Gwennys leg and she looks up to see Finney. She gets up and runs to him and I follow, tears falling down her face.
We both hug Finney, and I step back and look in his eyes, questioning where Vance is with my eyes.

He pauses and his eyebrows upturn to sadness as he slowly shakes his head.

3rd Persons POV:

Finney, Gwen and Y/N sit on the end of a ambulance staring at the house and the cops.
Gwen looks relieved to see her brother.
Finney looks like he just lost someone.
And Y/N looks like she won't ever speak again.

Their eyes lose their shines rather than get glassy when the cops pull the bodybags into the second ambulance.

The rain crashing down is only worse now but it matches everyone mood.
Y/n was going to break down when she saw the bodybags, all she can think about was Vance. And how the last time she ever saw him, he has a bloody  nose, blood on his knuckles and he had gotten arrested.
His last words to her were, "y/n go!"
Nothing too sentimental but enough that she feels like her name will never be the same.
