Okay so this is the first thing i came up with lol
Also i'm acually Dutch so i might make Some mistakes so sorry for that already.
In this imagine i have 2 parts, one where you have a nightmare and one where Alec has a nightmare.

Alec has a nightmare
It was a tough day and I was happy it was over,  finally being able to get a peaceful sleep was everything I needed right now. So I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I was woken up by someone screaming my name. "What the hell?" I whispered softly still getting used to being awake again. I grabbed a little light from my nightstand and made my way to the halls of the institute. Was I dreaming? Why was somebody screaming my name? Confused and still very tired I made my way to the room the screaming came from only to be even more confused when I saw it was his room.

I knocked on the door again and again, finally having enough I used my unlocking rune and opened the door only to be met with a sweaty and pale Alec. Then I realised it, he was having a dream. A bad one. "Alec?" I whisper moving closer to his bed. "Hey Alec?" I said louder now. When I realise he wasn't waking up I started schaking him. "Alec cmon wake up." I tried everything but nothing seemed to work until I suddenly heard a loud gasp and heard my name again. "(Y/n)" I heard him say soft in between sobs. "Alec it's okay it was just a bad dream". I wrapped my arms around his waist and he laced his head in the crook of my neck sobbing even more. Without a word I brought one of my hands to the back of his head and stroked my fingers trough his soft yet dark hair. "It felt so real" I heard him say. " but it wasn't Alec it was just a bad dream". I said hugging him tighter. His sobs quite down until there where just a few tears left. I pulled away from the hug and looked in his beautiful eyes. For I minute I forgot all my worries and just focused on the beautiful eyes of the most amazing man I front of me.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked snapping back to reality and wiping away the leftover tears that where on his cheek with my thumb. " not really, I feel to tired". I knew Alec to wel to know he was making an excuse, but decided to let it rest knowing he really din't wanna talk about it. "Okay" I whisper softly giving him a soft smile before standing up to go to my room again. "Wait" I heard him say. "What's wrong?" I asked him seeing how worried he looked and even almost nervous?

"Stay" I looked at him and saw how nervous he actually was, I thought it was cute. "Alec I-" "please (y/n)" I sigh slowly walking back to the bed and pulling the covers up a bit so i could slide under them. "Thank you (y/n/n)" he said " for what?" I asked although a already knew half the answer. " just you- your always there for me and I- I fuck I can't do this anymore" I raised an eyebrow in confusion. That's when he spoke again. " I like you (y/n), no you know what I love you (y/n), everything about you. How you help people, how you light up a dark room with just your presence and smile. You don't seem to realise how special you are to everyone, to- to me." I was speechless. The man I loved for half of my life just confessed his feelings to me. And those where good one's "Alec I-" " it's okay you don't have to like me back I just had to- why are you laughing?" He asked afraid of my answer. " it's just, you talk way too mush yk." And then I pulled him in for a kiss.

Everything I had felt that day, all the pain and all the torture just seem to slip from my shoulders the moment our lips met. His where sweet and soft. I couldn't get rid of the feeling. But I had to, so I pulled away before things got heated. "Alec I love you too, I always have from the moment we met." He smiled at me and I smiled back. "Cmon you look tired get some sleep." I said smiling at him. We moved so that his head was on my chest and he had a strong grip around me. "Mhm goodnight" he mumbled tired  creeping his head further in my chest. My fingers tracing his runes and going through his hair pulling him in a state of relaxed bliss. "Goodnight" i whisper softly giving him a kiss on the head and watch him fall asleep.

You have a nightmare
I was running from some demons without a stele or a weapon and an injured arm. I had called Alec my boyfriend and he was on his way with Jace, Clary and Isabelle. But they weren't fast enough. One of the demons had managed to get next to me and scratched me in my neck. I fell to the floor. It was a deep cut, that was for sure. "(Y/n)" I heard someone say. But I couldn't do anything. I was dying.... "(Y/N)" the person now screamed. I was terrified, this was it. This was the end. I thought to myself . Until I heard that voice again. "(Y/N) CMON." .... "(Y/N)" the person screamed louder then the time before. I gasped and sat up straight. I hurriedly looked around the room. Then I saw Alec's worried face looking straight at me, everything coming back to me slowly and I begin to sob.

"It's okay, I got you." I felt too strong arms wrap around me. One at your waist. One tracing circles on my upper back. "It was just a bad dream." I feel yourself shake a little less and stop sobbing. But there where still a few tears left that managed to escape my eyes. I felt the arms leaving my body. But instead found a soft hand on my waist and one on my cheek, whipping away the fallen tears. "I'm sorry for waking you up." I said with a shaky and soft voice.
" baby it's alright, I wasn't really tired anyway." Alec said his expression soft and full of love. " but it seems like you are." He said still wiping his thumb across my cheek. "Cmon let's get you to sleep we can talk about it tomorrow." "Okay..." I whispered allowing Alec to lay down on his back before I lay your head on his chest. "Goodnight love." He whispered kissing the top of my head and going though my hair with his big yet soft fingers. "Goodnight" I whispered already half asleep. That night Alec din't get mush sleep. But it was worth it, because he saw the love of his life in his arms peacefully sleeping and wondered how he got so lucky.

Okay, so I actually like this one wth

I hope you liked the first chapter of this book.
And also I'm kind of an Alec girl so there will be a little more Alec in here then the rest but there will def be other characters in here too.
