Every great story has a beginning, somewhere where the protagonist starts their journey of growth. Where they must introduce themselves to the world they live in and make their own choices that could impact them for better or for worse. Regardless of their later choices, it's their earliest ones that will ultimately decide how their journey begin.
So, let's all start out our journeys together and see just where they will take them.
First, there's just a few things that need to be figured out, like just who you are and how your very story began. This challenge will take place over the course of the next 10 weeks, a new challenge for your character revealed on the path to of their adventure. You must work this challenge into your writing and see just where it will lead your trainer.
CHALLENGE
You just recently turned ten years old, the milestone in your life signifying that you're able to finally begin your pokemon journey. Tell us about the day you went off to get your first pokemon and begin your big journey out into the world. Who was your starter pokemon, where is home always going to be waiting and who did you talk to before you left.
Whatever happened the day you went off on your pokemon journey, write up your story and tell us all about it. We want to know where your origin story lies and how you got your beginning.
CHALLENGE GUIDELINES
>> Make sure your story follows the Wattpad Content Guidelines
>> Your story must be between 1500-3000 words
>> Your story must be written specifically for this challenge. It can either be posted as a standalone story or in a short story collection, however, I recommend making this a standalone title as this challenge does have multiple parts.
>> Your story must remain a Pokemon Based Story as this is a pokemon based community. You can write other fandoms into the story, but make sure you keep it Pokemon themed.
>> Only English entries will be accepted.
>> One Entry per person
>> Deadline (Currently no deadline until more people join, then it will go for a week before the next part is released.) 11:59pm CDT (Central Daylight Time)
>> Submit the link to your story and the word count down below in the comments. Any comment without a link will not be accepted into the challenge.
>> There will be no reward for this challenge as it is our first one, I will be shouting out as many stories as possible.
